  • For your next OBX vacation, drop anchor at Dock Holiday in the world-class resort and marina of Pirate's Cove. Situated right on the canal, this well-maintained second-floor condo offers water views from the main living area, primary bedroom and private deck. Whether you're an avid angler or just love the water, Dock Holiday will put you right in the center of the very best the Outer Banks has to offer.

    Tasteful decor, a neutral color palette and wood flooring throughout create a soothing atmosphere of traditional coastal charm. Serve dinner al fresco on the private waterfront deck while watching the fishing boats come back to the marina at sunset. The spacious primary suite also provides deck access, so you can wake up and enjoy your morning coffee with a water view.

    During your stay, you'll have direct access to the boardwalk where you can take evening strolls along the marina and sound. Dock Holiday is the perfect choice for boating and water toy enthusiasts, who can use the nearby public ramp and dock a vessel or jet ski's in the 35' private slip (Rudder Canal #25). The Pirate's Cove community offers a variety of amenities, including an outdoor pool, fitness center, tennis, and volleyball court. The onsite restaurant Blue Water Grill & Raw Bar overlooks the marina and provides lunch, dinner, and a full-service bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Located right across the Washington Baum Bridge, you'll be just a short drive from the public beach accesses in Nags Head.

    Can’t stay an entire week? Dock Holiday is available for short stays with flexible arrival/departure options. For guests who like to plan ahead, partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance. Choose any day of the week for check-in and check-out.

Adorable 2 bedroom condo. You can’t beat a water view! Anyone with a boat would love this boating community. We enjoyed our long weekend with charming downtown Manteo a short drive away. The condo was clean and convenient 10 minute drive to Nags Head beaches. Would stay there again!

Never heard from the host but Village Realty was superb at helping us! Excellent location, the view was amazing & our stay was fantastic. We’d definitely stay again. The location is the best. Absolutely convenient to everything.

This location was clean and very nicely decorated. I appreciated the amenities including the nice beds/bedding, furniture, 2 showers, bikes, beach chairs, pool, workout facility, and parking spot under a garage. Check in was a bit frustrating as I had already pre filled out a form prior to traveling and then was asked to do the same thing once I arrived at the check-in office after a long drive. Other than that the whole development was amazing! There were even dolphin tour boats that leave right from Pirate Cove.

This was the prefect spot! It really felt like home and couldn't ask for more, except more time. The property itself was spotless and thoughtfully designed, featuring comfortable furnishings and plenty of small touches that made our stay feel extra special for the extended weekend. We left feeling completely refreshed and are already planning our next visit. Highly recommended, see you again soon.

We love pirates cove. This place was clean, had a great view of the lagoon and sound. Lots of walking trails and downtown Manteo is super close. Would highly recommend this place

Beautiful views. Clean condo with nice decor. The night guard at the gate wasn’t very friendly or helpful. The others during the day were nice. We weren’t sent any check in information so we spent about an hour on the phone with VRBO who were very helpful and got us the information we needed to get into the condo.

Overall the stay and accommodations were great. Had a little hiccup on arrival with Master bedroom not made. However, we contacted Village Rental and we had sheets within an hour and they were willing to make the bed. Great family friendly community and close to attractions.

Weekend at OBX

Five out of five stars. It was clean, comfortable, and offered everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely stay here again. It had no elevator, but it was only one story up and that’s no different than my own two-story home. Before my arrival, I contacted customer service twice, and they promptly answered all my questions.

Dock Holiday

This was a lovely place to stay with a great location. The place was well decorated and comfy. Couple of things... the code didn't work when we got there so had to call the office to reset it, no pillow cases on a couple of pillows and a man from the staff entered the place at about 8:00am on check out day using the code without knocking. I was still in bed when he walked in.

Relaxing views

Great location with relaxing views. Seems recently acquired and updated quickly. Needs a light over the shower areas-don’t shower after dark. Washer needs maintenance -loud cycles. Sliding door does not lock. Could be a great little get-away.
