"Beautiful property, does need some TLC around the grounds and even though the rooms were lovely and big, there were signs of upgrading needed, but it was nothing bad that I wouldn't stay there again. The staff seem to have a an invisibility role, there is a telephone number to ring on arrival, but you're pretty much left alone. The older lady, possibly owner was lovely and friendly Breakfast a 'help yourself' cereals, bread for toast, fruit and hot plates with bacon, sausages beans etc. parking was great. Taxi was a short ride for approx £8 into Hereford. Very peaceful location."

"We had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay in this elegant and historic building. The grounds are well maintained and the highlight is the walled garden with a large variety of fruit trees and a maze that puzzled us for a while! Our dinner was prepared with care and attention and the food was very tasty. A 5* stay in a 5* hotel.."
