"Remodeled excellent condition clean comfortable beds. Manager was helpful and kind. She told us about the fire ring in the back of the property with free firewood which my son and grandson and I enjoyed very much. She even brought us some marshmallows to roast. I would highly recommend this hotel. They have numerous options of rooms and cabins. Close to the Manistee river hiking trails hodenpyle reservoir with boating kayaking fishing etc. 30 minutes to Traverse City 20 minutes to Cadillac 45 minutes to Lake Michigan. Near the snowmobile trails ski resorts for winter fun. Great location at very reasonable rates. We will stay here again!"

"Convenient location, can walk to stores and restaurants, and the Riverwalk is right there. No breakfast but had coffee and flavorings as well as granola bars, oranges for a quick bite in the morning. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable."

"Great little spot to get away from the loud noises in the city. We soaked in the hot tub and listened to the crickets all night every night. We loved Rosie’s Cafe across the street! There’s a lot of great things to explore within a half hour drive. I would definitely stay here again."
