Great location!

Close to the action without being in it. Quiet, peaceful beaches. Grocery store, markets, pharmacy, bus etc all within very short walk. The hotel itself is super clean and well maintained. It has everything you need for your comfort & the owner/host is incredibly kind and helpful. Note: While our room did have an ocean view, it is not ocean front (1 block away)

The room was very clean but basic. The room had Wi-Fi, and breakfast was included, although we ate elsewhere. It felt like a house instead of a hotel. The lady who owned the hotel was super nice and very helpful. We chatted for a while before leaving the hotel.

Manglaralto gem

It was a very pleasant stay. Paola accomdated us in the balcony view room . We extended for three more nights because we liked it so much away from the crowds of Montenita. The beach in the little town is amazing.

We stayed in this cute and well hospitality family hotel. Was clean, queit, hot water, AC, and great breakfast. Paula was there to answer all our qeastions and help us with recomndations and information. Its deffently a place to stay and enjoy both quiet and party montanita (30 mins walking or 3 mins by taxi or bus from montanita).

Paola & her staff were very accommodating & efficient. Breakfast & coffee were very good. The bed was comfortable & we had great view from our terrace. Very few dining options other than seafood but the ceviche was great.

Quick stay

It was great, in Ecuador you got to be careful how you book a room for one person; Buddha permit you bring another person they will try to give you a hard time; luckily the lady at the front desk; was nice enough to let us stay; without charging me. She was going to. After all was great and very convenience, Ah, one more thing make sure they turn the boiler for your hot water. Even thou is Ecuador; but I stay in winter; a little chill.

Nancy and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The property is very quiet and tranquil. WiFi was poor, breakfast adequate and hot water a challenge at times. But the rooms were clean and service excellent. One block from the beach, a small village with limited but sufficient amenities for a short get-away from the madness and noise of Montanita! Thank you Nancy!

Lovely getaway close enough to Montanita

We had a lovely time at Puerta Sol Inn. We enjoyed days on the beach in Montanita and were glad to come home to peace and quiet in Manglaralto at night. Wendy and the team at Puerta Sol were always kind, respectful and offered excellent- above and beyond service. The rooms were very clean, food was good and wifi worked pretty well. FYI- the hot water was backwards in our room (right was hot). Looking forward to visiting again!
