"The cleaning staff did a great job of refreshing the rooms. The hotel was conveniently situated in the area we were visiting. The mattresses were coil spring and uncomfortable and had a knee bruising border around the bottom. Although our room was freshly repainted, the paint had been scraped off at wear points due to non-adhesion. We were surprised there was no breakfast and the room phone did not work. The toilet paper dispense had not been replaced from where someone had torn it off the bathroom wall, and the toilet seat was attached with only one fastener."

"This is a truly beautiful place, it’s all about relaxation. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff are very attentive. I wasn’t able to utilize many of the amenities because I was there for a wedding so I was preoccupied, but I definitely plan to come back when I can spend a few days exploring, riding a bike on the trails and just relaxing. The butterfly garden was pretty. The beach and pool looked fun. The gardens are definitely worth a few hours to enjoy. I highly recommend!"
