It’s a beautiful historic building in a great location. The staff is super friendly, rooms are spacious, very clean, comfortable and updated. Breakfast is great, there’s fresh coffee available for many hours and yummy welcoming cookies. What more could we ask?!

This is a cool historic mansion like place to stay, built in the 1800’s. Our room was totally renovated, super clean and the bed was amazing. Our only complaint was that it was a bit chilly in there and we couldn’t adjust the temp warmer. Lots of covers on the bed so we slept warm enough. The restaurant was closed but they served a decent continental breakfast and the coffee was good. The staff was awesome too. We’d stay there again!

Best customer service we have ever had at a place we stayed over night! Room was amazing bed was comfortable we suggested room with a balcony. Breakfast was great can't wait for restaurant to open as well. Owner saved us our vehicles battery died and if he didn't help we would of been in trouble can't thank him enough. Can't wait to stay again!

Loved staying at The Centennial. Lovely neighborhood w parks, academics, restaurants and shopping. Staff was friendly and accommodating, even for folks traveling with dogs. Fresh coffee, pastries and yogurt for breakfast were delicious. Spacious room with crisp clean sheets. Highly recommend it!

Based on the age of the hotel and the architecture, I was expecting more charm and cool features in the room. Parking was great. Hard to believe that the elevator has been out of service as long as it has. I’m sure it’s a huge ADA violation.

Decent hotel with comfortable bed and reasonable shower Wi-Fi was very up-and-down which may affect some travellers. Decent but the hotel had a generally slowly sad and rundown air to it. Most notably lift was not working and the hotel doesn’t tell you that until you confirmed and paid on Expedia. I think this is almost unacceptable.

Breakfast was disappointing and the lack of a restaurant was disappointing. Not sure it was worth the price paid but NASCAR weekend allowed all the hotels in the area to increase their prices for their customers. The location is convenient to the Capitol Center/ Chubb Theater for events. This was our 2nd stay and the restaurant wasn’t open the last time we stayed due to renovations then. It worked as a last minute option but until the amenities improve I’m not sure I would book again.

Such a beautiful property and close to the Main Street restaurants. We loved our room and the bathroom was huge. But what’s going on with the elevator? It was broken and from the reviews, it’s been out of order for a while. We had to shlep to the third floor with our suitcases. But the staff couldn’t have been nicer! We’ll be back, hopefully they’ll have the elevator figured out by then.

A unique and charmful spot to stay! Would recommend as the size of the room and bathroom are very large. The beds are quite comfortable. The breakfast was a nice touch. Very clean. The only downfall is the elevator does not work and based on past reviews it hasn't for a while. Didn’t deter us any but may be hard for older guests climbing stairs with luggage but the hosts did offer assistance if needed.

Pretty place. Clean. No working elevators but we didn’t need it, thankfully. Restaurant was not open. After a long day of travel, that would have been nice. Breakfast was more than plentiful. A bit better than a typical continental breakfast. One thing is the curtains did not close on a big window and I had to makeshift with something to pull them together best we could because the lights from the parking lot were bright. That’s the only thing about the room that was an issue. Staff was extremely nice and helpful making sure our party of four had towels and such without having to ask. Over all, for a one night stay on our way through New Hampshire, it was nice.

The room was clean as usual; I have stayed here several times over the past few years. I really wish the restaurant/bar on-site would be open consistently (it's currently closed again). The elevator has been out of service for a while, and you have to use the emergency stairwell to get to the 3rd floor. Unfortunately for me, the room next door had 2 loud barking dogs; they would bark at any sound in the hallway. My first trip to the front desk was unhelpful about the dogs. In the morning at checkout, I reminded them about the barking dogs, and they apologized. Usually, the hotel is a bit better about noise; it's just frustrating when you are trying to get some sleep after a busy day.

Great classic hotel, with friendly/helpful staff. Would stay again for sure. Minor issues: there were a couple of spots of dark mold in the corner of the walk-in shower. A bit of bleach, etc, could take care of that. Also, the furniture on our balcony was covered in a thick layer of dust/pollen. We asked that someone vacuum it and someone on staff told the front desk that they'd done it, but the balcony was never touched.

The room was clean and comfortable but there was a window ac unit and no shade on the window. Closing the curtains for privacy meant blocking the ac. The room also lacked a full length mirror and had limited bathroom vanity space. I did like the laminate floors, the room was a nice size and the bed was comfy
