This charming inn is a beautiful property I wish I’d had more time to enjoy. The beds were clean and comfortable, the grounds are well cared for, and I only wish I could have spent more time exploring the pond.

Beautiful location right on the lake makes this place stand out. Miriam was easy to get ahold of whenever we needed anything and was flexible with check in time.

Rooms were acceptable and the location on the lake with kayaks and canoe were a great. A few different areas to have a fire with plenty of outdoor seating! A great hidden gem!

The area around the hotel was gorgeous. I enjoyed walking the trail and getting to see nature. The room was very clean. The only complaint I could possibly have is that I wish I had known ahead of time food options are next to nothing out in that area, especially if you have allergies. Now that I know I can pack food with me for next time. Other than that the place is amazing!

Peace and serenity at its best!

Our time at the Lake Shore Farm Inn was outstanding. The caretaker was incredibly generous and helpful, providing all we needed for our stay and giving excellent local information that made our stay experience in New Hampshire all the more enjoyable. Will absolutely recommend to everyone we know and look forward to returning soon.

Lake Shore Farm Inn

Charming venue. Lovely grounds. Easily one of the most comfortable beds I've experienced. Only complaint is that the tavern was closed until further notice, and there are no dining options nearby, so I didn't eat well. I would definitely come back once the tavern reopens.

Property was absolutely beautiful. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Things were very limited due to the Coronavirus. I can't wait to go back after things have gotten back to normal and get to sample all they have.

Secluded quiet place in the country. About 10 min from Pittsfield where there are a couple of restaurant options and grocery store. Beautiful setting on the lake (we went canoeing and took out the paddle boat), quiet, peaceful, restorative, off the path. Awesome game room where my son and I played billiards, ping pong, darts, battleship, cribbage, and pass the pigs. Room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable. Thanks for the great stay, we will definitely return.

I stayed 2 nights. No one came and made my bed, or gave me clean towels etc. they did however leave 2 more coffee pods and 2 tea bags. Disappointed in the level of housekeeping.

We didn't use the pet accomodations. we were honestly pretty disappoimted on how hot is was in the room. we went to sleep at 7:15 and that was only because we could not figure out the tv worked t ave our life. then we woke u at 10:30 and we were both prettty much miserable even though it was once my husband got out the fan that after not sleeping at all friday night. then in the morning I got at 4:30 .am and proceeded to take a shower. Just before taking a shower I noticed that there was something pink on the floor right underneath cabinet door in a pretty good puddle. I looked inside the cabinet door only to find something like pepto Bismol seemed tp spilled inside. I gpt some toilet paper and cleaned it up; another thought would be to possible have a box of tissues available. No one was at the front desk when we checked in and when we checked out; it was pretty much a miserable stay sorry to say; I just hope they didn't charge us for a security deposit. But the reason I have no idea is because I didn't see our final bill.........

This is a rather rustic accommodation on a lake. The property is very quiet and while the room was somewhat dated, it was very clean. The front desk is not attended, so it is important to notify the owner about arrival time. She is totally fluent in English, although she is French. There are canoes and kayaks to enjoy on the lake, although I didn't use them. There is no food service there, so one has to go to Route 4 where there are several restaurants, unless one brings food to put into the refrigerator in the room. There is a microwave too, which I used, as well as a coffee maker. This property is very convenient to the many antique shops on route 4 "First New Hampshire Turnpike". This was less expensive than staying in Concord and a lot quieter.

After booking this stay I saw some reviews that made me a little unsure if my stay would be good or not. I can safely say it was nothing others have spoken of! I had a late arrival at which the host came to greet me and walked me and my mother to our rooms, my first room I noticed some ants by a window (its nature it happens) they promptly moved my room, I had mentioned they were some giant ants!! They were glad I said that because they knew just the type of ants and said they were going to treat accordingly. Settled into my new room and all was well. Though we didn’t spend a lot of time on site we did have a picnic on the spacious grounds where we met the hosts friendly cat. All and all it was a great stay! The only things I would note and that they mention on the website is make sure you request air conditioning, and they do not have a restaurant anymore (that seemed to be a big complain in reviews) however the diner in town and the donuts at north woods brewery are not far and both were amazing
