フレンドリーでアットホームな雰囲気
送迎サービスがついていてとてもいいです。空港近くのレンタカーエリアへも快く送ってくれました。スタッフも皆さんフレンドリーです。部屋も居心地よく何度も利用してます。

極冷水シャワー修行に最適
洗面台、風呂桶の湯水栓から、40-20℃程度極の湯しか出ないのはまだしも、シャワーからは極冷水しか出ない。改善(調整、部屋交換等)を要求したが、なんの対応もなく謝罪すらなかった。他の項目では評価できるところもあるが、真冬に湯の出ないシャワーは、約30年前にポルトガルの田舎で飛び込みで泊まった小さな宿以来だった。さらに、Hotels.comで支払い済みだったけれど領収証の発行は拒否した。

空港からのピックアップは期待できません
予約完了メールに「事前にシャトルサービスについて打ち合わせ必要」とのことで ”空港のピックアップ場所と運行ダイヤ” を聞いたら理解困難な要領をえない返事が来た。仕方ないので空港から電話したら「タクシーか歩け」とのこと。しかし現地を確認したら５０mの場所に空港とつながるバス停あったよ。早朝の空港行きサービス有無を質問しても「乗りたい時間にロビーに来い」であった。これは危ういと感じたので早く行ったら４席の乗用車で最後の席。乗れない人多数で揉めてた。さて部屋はエアコン故障で電気ヒーターのみ。バスタブあるが湯はぬるいのでシャワーもダメ。湯船にためたぬるま湯で足を洗うしかない。これで結構なお値段するんですわ。

清潔、美的、格調と　部屋のおいてある無料のお茶のサービスセットの超豊富。
値段以上の高レベル。空港への無料サービス朝5時でもあるみたい。 私は5時３０頃利用しました。 ホテルは美しく、高グレードな印象。お茶の無料サービスの充実度は抜群。多種類のティーバッグが沢山おいてある。　電気ポットがすぐ沸く。洗面、シャワーはもきれいでゆったりしている。 電気ヒーターは古く安いようですが、大変暖かいです。　エアコンは故障で動きませんが冬でしたので、私には、ヒーターで十分でした。暑い季節は快適かどうか不明です。空港の早朝利用えしたが、マンチェスターの市内からあまり遠くないようでした。

friendly but a bit old
People are friendly and they will bring you to the airport anytime. But because the house is a bit old, you will hear footstep above. Bath room also needs renovation. Telefon has no indication how to call.

空港からは近いが、建物そのものが古くエレベーターかない上にホテル内は迷路のようで荷物を運び入れるのに苦労しました。 ドアの建て付けも悪く隙間から廊下の光が漏れ、水回りもいまいち。19世紀頃の英国風を堪能するには最適かもしれませんが、飛行機の為に滞在するには不向きなホテルだと感じました。

飛行機の到着時刻が無料シャトルバス時間外だったので空港から歩きましたが思ったよりも遠いです。(シャトルバスサービスはfrom 5am till 10pm) 客室とベッドは広く快適でした。

空港に近く　車のサービスをしてくれる
スリッパ位は　用意してほしい　と思いましたし　bath　robe　もあればうれしいです。 Hotel　の成り立ちとか　きけて　楽しい思いをしました　1760年　に建てられ　はじめは個人の住居 30年ほど前より　ホテルとして営業を始めたとのことでした。　近くは最近までうっそうとした森の中のようで 緑に囲まれていたのだが残念ながら時の流れで　交通も変わってくるが　車では便利なところです。 それで　shuttle　service　をしてもらい　快適でした。

musky and shabby
A musky smell which hits you instantly . No shuttle service which wasn’t stated at the time of the booking . Okay government guidelines ! But no kettle , no iron , no tea coffee facilities , and no WiFi . No restaurant and no bar unless you wanted bottled beer at silly price . Hotel used covid as an excuse yet bars and restaurants are open everywhere . Room very shabby with broken curtains , badly stained furniture and carpets and generally awful . I made my complaints with both the hotel and with hotel.com neither of any use .

Very quirky with old world charm. Very friendly staff. Room 16 had very dirty carpets and need a new shower door seal which was also very grubby.

A good place to stay near Manchester airport
The information on how to access the free shuttle and that it didn't run before 5am was not obvious and I missed it. When I rang from the shuttle stop to check times they came immediately and were very friendly. Dinner was excellent as well.

I only stayed one night. I was catching an early morning flight the following day from Manchester airport. The hotel is less than half a mile from the airport with a shuttle bus, so it was ideal.

Overnight stay
Excellent for our overnight stay before flying. Would definitely recommend. Extremely helpful when having to arrange to leave a car at last minute after trains weren’t running.

Great location and staff
Great location for the airport and the staff were very welcoming and helpful - especially when my flight was cancelled and I had to stay an extra night. Free shuttle to and from the airport, which they allowed me to use when sorting out my delay - would recommend and book again.

We stayed here on a stop over in Manchester before our flight back to LA. This hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. It is very close to the airport and with a shuttle to the airport it allows you to have extra time in bed before your flight. I totally recommend it and I will stay here again.

Very Dissapointed
I booked 3 rooms for business colleagues and 2 out of the 3 were unacceptable. One was badly damaged by what looked like an electrical fire and the bathroom was not clean. The rooms were dated in decor but it was the lack of cleanliness that was unacceptable.

We have stayed there at least 4 times when flying out of Manchester Airport. They pick us up from the train station in 5 mins and drop us off right out side the terminal. Hotel is older but comfortable staff are excellent
