This is an excellent place to stay while visiting the Laguna de Apoyo. Location is rustic and beautiful. Food is excellent. Staff is incredible. They arranged transportation which was a plus. You can order things, meals, to your room and pay an itemized bill with your card at check out. I can't say enough about the place.

Clean room, friendly staff, loved the vibes everywhere. So many spots to sit and relax. The lagoon is absolutely beautiful! The food was great. Would stay here again and again!

Amazing stay! It has a gorgeous maze of rooms and terraces filled with beautiful plants and decor. Javier in the restaurant is the hardest working, happiest guy. The service was incredible. Email ahead and book massages! I saw a review on noise from another person and it does seem like the people who are there with you really make a difference. There was one night with a really noisy guest, but there's nothing the hotel can do about that. There is a $15 upcharge per day for a/c, but it's worth it. I can't begin to tell you how magical it all was, you'll have to go see for yourself! I can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Marimba. Beautiful place and rooms, clean everywhere. Beach also very nice for swimming and relaxing. The lagoon is perfect for swimming as it is a bit warmer due to the volcanic ground. Helpful and nice staff. Also food was delicious. Would definitely recommend this place for everyone enjoying beautiful places and relaxing.
