Summary:
Snowcreek #059 (Phase 1) is great for a Mammoth Lakes getaway.

The Space:
This 2 bedroom/2 bathroom plus loft unit can house up to 7 guests. You will find yourself in a great area for all 4 seasons' activities.

The complex offers a Jacuzzi and dry sauna year-round. The Red Line Shuttle stop is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the condo. The shuttle route is located on Minaret Road, and travels to the Village and Main Lodge year round. Eagle Lodge is also only a short drive.

Walk into an open floor layout. The spacious living room features a woodstove with firewood provided. The family will enjoy gathering on the large sectional couch to watch a movie on the television. There are 3 flat screen TV's, DVD player, and high-speed internet offered for your entertainment. A washer and dryer are also conveniently placed in the home. A balcony offers an escape for fresh air and has partial mountain views.

Behind the living room is a well-equipped kitchen. There are several appliances to help the chef create delicious meals. Guests can take a seat at the built-in breakfast bar to keep the conversation going with the chef. Bring everyone to the formal dining table with seating for 6 and have a home cooked meal.

Down the hall is the master bedroom. This room is furnished with a comfortable King-sized bed, television, and private bathroom. The second bedroom has a Queen-sized bed. There is an additional full bathroom for everyone to access. Upstairs you will find a loft that would suitably house the kids. The loft holds a Queen, Twin, sitting area, and television.

The unit is very close to the Meadow and Mammoth Creek, great for fishing, walking and hiking. There are many biking trails as well. Keeping up on your fitness or looking for something else to do during your stay? The Snowcreek Athletic Club is nearby and great for getting a sweat going. A pass can be purchased for $25/adult and $15/child. The pass includes access to the premier gym, trampoline rooms, racquetball court, indoor pool, outdoor pool (spring/summer), spa, 5 outdoor tennis courts (spring/summer), and The Bistro East Restaurant.

Due to COVID amenities like the pool or hot tub may not be available.

Due to COVID, there are changes in ski resort availabilities. Please make sure to check the ski resorts’ policies on reservations and tickets if you plan on hitting the slopes. We cannot provide refunds based on reservation inabilities at the ski resorts.

Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging.

Other Things to Note:
This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

Skied the 5ft dump last weekend & hopped on the redline (2 min walk) up to the village each day! Nice hot tub & sauna at the end of the parking lot. Great living area & slept 5 very comfortably. Thanks!

The water heater and stove/oven appliance were not working upon arrival . After several texts with Grand Welcome Property Management, a maintenance worker came the next day and was able to reset water heater, however he could not repair the stove/oven. This resulted in us having to eat out the entire trip for every meal (4 adults, 3 children), after we already bought groceries. We were not offered other accommodations. The water heater went out again the next day and after several correspondences with Property Management, no worker was sent to fix it. We were without hot water the majority of our stay. Getting off the slopes after skiing in a blizzard and not being able to take a hot shower was more than inconvenient. Basic amenities were not provided. Also, the twin bed in loft had a comforter that had a very pungent mildew odor. It was so strong that our young son who slept in it smelled of it and wasn’t able to shower because the hot water was out. It was frustrating to continuously have to text and follow up on texts with property management, and it not resulting in us having basic habitable needs. We are still working on getting compensation for this stay after 2 weeks.

I tried tirelessly to get ahold of Grand Welcome during my stay and after. When I spoke to VRBO, the gentleman on the phone was absolutely no help. Some of the issues I came across during my stay included the lack of amenities as listed on the website, the lack of communication, the cleanliness and finally the lack of safe, usable furniture. On my stay my guests and I had the disservice of sleeping in a cabin that was more than likely not cleaned before us. One of my guests woke up and saw that he had slept on two pillows COVERED in blood. The blankets in the loft and downstairs smelled like they have not been washed in who knows how long. Upon arrival, there were NO trash bags or paper towels. And we were only provided with one toilet roll. For a 3 night stay, does this seem feasible? The chairs by the dining table are on the verge of breaking. It wasn’t just one or two chairs, but it was in fact, all 6. If a heavier individual were to sit on these, I can almost guarantee that they would fall apart. In the kitchen and in the downstairs guest bathroom, there are floorboards that have nails sticking out. A guest and myself both stubbed our toes and managed to have cuts on our feet due to these nails. I called Grand Welcome multiple times and they left me on hold, hung up on me and promised to bring us new clean pillows and sheets. That never happened. Stay somewhere else and save your money. This place was AWFUL

This condo is in the nice nieghborhoods of town and comminity is clean and quiet. This condo is dated, including the furniture. Posted pictures afe decieving as the condo lacks natural light and has inadequate lighting to brighten it up. Our visit was in mid july with hotter than usual temps. The unit does not have AC and has inadequate windows to allow any outside air circulation as a result we needed to keep the front door open to create any sort of cross wind air circulation

Been staying in diff condos in mammoth for years, this was definitely the WORST one. The entire places feels dirty; the carpets are filthy, linens smelled like pet odor, shower floors were brown/black, pots in the cupboards were filled with water or wet. All the cookware and dinnerware had burnt residue or greasy grime. There were only 3 bath towels, no dishwasher soap, 2 rolls of TP, missing pillow cases. When we shared with management that things were missing all they said was “we will let management know” and nothing was done about it. Beds are uncomfortable and felt like box springs. There was also a broken window with completely missing glass and when I let management know, they responded with, “do you have something to cover it?” After 3 calls, they came and put a piece of plywood over it, but the room was freezing and not livable. They completely ignored the issue. What a disappointing stay.

The downstairs bedroom was broken and when I called it in they said someone would come but no one ever did. The window was a double pain and seems to have been broken for a while. Should have been told ahead of time. We had 7 family members but only received 6 bath towels and asked for the additional one but never received it. We liked the location and the condo but the management company was frustrating. Never answered my questions but said all the right things as in good customer service but didn’t get the good customer service - all talk.

I like the downtown area and this is walkable to most areas of Old Mammoth Rd. It needs to be decent weather though. Absolutely no condiments Salt pepper is usually provided maybe this is the new normal.

Didn’t realize that “Phase 1” in Snowcreek meant old and dark. The kitchen needs serious work and the lighting needs improvement as well. We have been coming to mammoth for 27 years and stayed in all manner of condo. This was not the worst, but felt like a vacation home that is rented out. The entire kitchen is filled with items that were brought here after being replaced at home. 7 plates, no steak knives, and so many knicknacks (they make the place seem dirty). Will rent directly through snowcreek next time.

The upstairs patio is unusable due to the hornet nest. The kitchen is very outdated, The glasses and mugs were very small we had to do a lot of refills. The pillow zippers were a little annoying however overall the sheets were clean the towels were clean and the tub was clean. Overall we would return.

Good location for all summer activities. Large living area and plenty of room to spread out. However --- it is VERY dark and dreary. we had to bring a lamp from one of the bedrooms to be able to see in the middle of the day. Still dark.. Desperately needs new lighter carpet. Kitchen has everything you need, but nothing matchs. Quite an assortment of too much sturff. . No Bar-B-Q. So much wood on the deck you can't sit out there which is too bad as it is so nice in the summer to be able to sit out ,Probabley OK for winter,but not going to return in the summer. Needs a lot of updating.

Nice property and value for the accommodations. Everything needed is stocked in the kitchen. All bathrooms are on the bottom floor of this tri-level condo, so this might be an issue for some. One issue is that the bathrooms are a bit dated and water pressure is quite low. Ample parking and nice secluded location.

We stayed at this condo for 5 nights last week. Upon arriving there was an overwhelming smell of air freshener, a concerning start. By the second day, the mold/mildew smell was apparent. My daughter and I are allergic to mold and mildew and spend the rest of our stay with chest cold-like symptoms. I messaged the property manager about a few issues we were having - no reasonable cutting board, 1 dishtowel, three dishwasher pods for a 5 day stay, and half a roll of paper towels - all stuff I would have expected to be provided. It took two days, but they did fix those issues. I told the property manager there was a significant mold and mildew problem, though I knew there was nothing that could be done. Be warned - if you are bothered by mold and mildew, do not stay in this condo unless the owner replaces the original carpet. Condo has carpet under the washer/dryer and hot water heater, which is likely the source.

We enjoyed our stay here in first week of April. Condo is dated but has pretty much everything you would need. Plenty of space for our family of 3 adult and 3 kids with a spare bedroom. Good location close to Main and Canyon lodge. We like it the most that down the street there's a Vons supermarket that is well-stocked. There are plenty of other restaurants around. Price for our 4 days stay was very reasonable as well. I recommend this place 👍👍
