Beautifully remodeled 2 bedroom with OPEN LOFT, 2 bathroom condo walking distance to Canyon Lodge. The unit offers a detached private 2 car garage (garage clearance is 6' 10"), large vaulted-ceiling living room, features stylish furnishings, views, a flat screen TV, WiFi, and a cozy wood burning stove. There is a bonus queen size leather sofa sleeper in the living room. All bedrooms have deluxe bed decor. The master bedroom has a California king bed with a TV and en-suite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a TV. The loft has a queen bed, and a twin trundle bed. The second bathroom with tub is on the main level. Cook meals for the whole family in the gorgeous kitchen that features granite counter tops and stainless appliances. This unit is located on the upper level, there is 4 flights of steps to access the front door with approximately 29 steps. Please Note the stairs are the only way to access the front door. The garage is detached, so not attached to the condo and both cars must be parked there, additional parking outside the garage is NOT allowed. This unit is not pet friendly. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Great place. Very clean. Large. Remodeled. Warm. Felt very comfortable. Very short walk in ski boots to Canyon lodge. Kitchen was well equipped. Beds were very comfortable with soft sheets and pillows. My family was very happy with their stay. Bathrooms were spotless. Nicely furnished. Very high quality rental. :)

Excellent location to canyon lodge lifts

An easy walk to the Canyon lodge and ski lifts. Also easy walk to Village Gondola for a quick trip to the village for lunch. The cabin is roomy and comes with two door garage ( awesome since we were in a snow storm) close driving distance to restaurants, grocery store ect. Overall great place, it is on the third floor ( 30 steps up) but manageable.

Convenient location

We enjoyed our stay at Courcheval #14 over Martin Luther King weekend. It was a convenient location - just about a 5 minute walk to Canyon Lodge. I would not hesitate to stay here again (nicely updated unit, comfortable beds, good WIFI, good location, indoor parking for two cars, etc), but that being said here are a few things to note: 1) the stair issue is real. This unit is several flights upstairs (which was fine without snowy conditions but would have been tougher in a storm). However if you have any mobility issue or young children who cannot help with the loading/unloading this could be an issue for you. 2) There is no central heat in the unit so it is tricky to control the temperature in the bedrooms (and the loft has no separate control it's from the living room downstairs). There is a dial without numbers on the heating units so you can't really tell what the temperature is other than how it feels in the room. 3) There is no washer/dryer in the unit (but is available somewhere for the condo structures).

Beautiful mountain condo

Overall a great property and experience. Clean, nicely appointed, comfortable. The loft had two beds and my kids loved it, but be aware that the loft counts as one of the three bedrooms. Kitchen was well-stocked with things like olive oil and spices. Only minor complaint is that we ran out of toilet paper and couldn’t find more. Not a big deal.

Overall this unit was nice. We were surprised at the number of flights of stairs to reach the front door. Had we been disabled or in less physical condition we would not have been able to stay at this location. Also, the unit was listed as three bedrooms, it should say two bedrooms and a loft.

Great condo right next to Canyon Lodge

Spent 4 nights at this condo in Mammoth with my family and we had a great time. The home was very comfortable (and warm) which was important because we were there during a big storm and had to spend pretty much 2 full days inside with 4 adults and 2 little ones. Fireplace was wonderful and kept us warm the whole time. The snow was shoveled off of our steps once a day which was really nice too and unexpected. Great stay and would love to come back!

Great location and well furnished!

We really enjoyed the property. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The snow/melt freeze was hazardous but there was little that could be done.

Mammoth Condo

We enjoyed staying at this condo for our visit to Mammoth for a ski trip recently. The location was perfect for walking to the slopes, and the condo itself had everything we needed. It was a great size for our group and clean. The one thing that could have been improved was the check-in and check-out process - we had to get the keys and drop them off at a different location, and it would've been a lot more convenient if we could have had keyless entry or some option like that. We would definitely stay again in the future!

Good location close to canyon lodge but 3 stories up, check in and check out process involves different locations (not convenient at all), check in is too late and check out too early and not flexible, and even though there’s cleaning fee they ask you to take out trash yourself (remember, 3rd floor and trash also not close).

Excellent place to stay. It is a really nice home not a "rental". Perfect for our family. Note it is up two flights of stairs which was no problem for us. Just consider it. Highly recommend it and plan to stay here again

Beautiful house at an amazing location!!

I organize an annual moms getaway to Mammoth every winter and booked this house for 6 moms. It’s beautiful and clean and the beds are soooo comfortable! It was exactly what we needed. We walked to Canyon Lodge and back each day no problem. The bedrooms, kitchen, living room and bathrooms are all gorgeous! I had read the reviews about the stairs and was nervous but they were clear of ice and snow for our stay. It is two stories which is tough unloading your car given the altitude, but totally worth it once you’re settled in. We will definitely be back!!

Great location but needs some work

It would have been nice if the description included the fact that there are 2 1/2 flights of icy stairs to this unit. When the ice melts off the roof it directly falls on the stairs so there is a line of solid ice each morning which runs the length of the stairs. I had to clear it everyday with my snow shovel because we had small children and every time out of the unit was quite the ordeal. In fact, one of the dads slipped on the ice and landed 4 stairs down on the landing. Also, we were not allowed to check in any earlier than 4 pm due to housekeeping. We waited till 4pm, picked up keys then when we got there none of the bed linens had been changed. Kinda weird looking at unmade beds that someone else slept in. Reservation co. refunded the cleaning deposit. It is a great location to Canyon Lodge, had ample wood and was otherwise clean, but the stairs are a pain. As for broken items, the Master Bath had a faulty toilet, master bedroom had wall heater that sounded like an airplane taking off, (a little lubricant on the fan motor might do the trick). Microwave oven had broken handle that appeared to have been glued back multiple times. The garage door was not operational via remote, it looked like someone backed into it. We had to manually open and close it. Only 2 people fit in the kitchen at any point in time but it is stocked well enough with plates, pans, utensils, cleaning supplies and dish washer detergent. The coffee maker takes cone shaped filters not basket type. The living space is good for 2 small families but the 2 wooden support beams in the living area are kinda distracting. They kinda ruin the view of the wooden stove unless you're right in front of it. Overall it was ok. Would I stay at this particular unit again? Probably not, mostly due to the 2 1/2 flights of stairs. We're chronic over packers so after the 10th up and down it got tedious. Oh, the view is nice from the Master Bedroom which is another flight of stairs up.

Beautiful and clean

The condo was beautiful and very clean. We loved the decor. The only downside were the stairs getting up to the third floor condo. Unfortunately we had to leave Mammoth 3 days early because the wildfire that was only 7 miles away. It was unbearable to even sleep at night with the smoke. We were told that hiking in certain areas was too dangerous because of the smoke levels. The property management wasn’t kind or respectful when we asked for a possible partial refund. The manager was the only one who acted professional. So, other than losing the money we had paid for the condo, we would definitely rent this particular condo again.

Excellent vacation rental

I just returned from a five day/four night family ski vacation. This was a great condo and very close to Canyon Lodge (short walk as mentioned in the description). It was convenient to be able to walk to and from the lodge. The unit was very clean and had nice upgrades throughout. The kitchen had everything you needed and the loft was great for our younger kids. I would highly recommend bringing chains if visiting in the colder months. When we arrived, the roads in Mammoth didn't require chains, however we were barely able to get into the garage without chains because the driveway along the condo complex was really icy, especially right next to the garage where it is steeper than most other parts of the driveway. It was not an issue with chains on our vehicle, however another SUV couldn't get into the garage even with chains installed and had to park outside. The only negative inside the unit was the noisy heaters. They are older and very loud when they come on and off throughout the night. That being said, we would definitely stay there again and were very satisfied with our selection.

Wonderful condo and location!

We have stayed in many condos in the summer and winter in Mammoth and this was by far the best! It was clean, comfortable and the location was perfect, walking distance to Canyon Lodge. The large 2-car garage was an added bonus, especially since our Toyota Sequoia fit inside with the Thule case on top. We finally found a condo where we will come back to again and again! Thank you!

Great condo

Great location, short walk to canyon lodge. Very clean and spacious condo. A few things to keep in mind that I didn't know, it is on the 3rd floor, so we had to lug our stuff up which was annoying. Also it snowed and was very icy on the landings, no salting which may have helped. Overall we enjoyed our stay and had a great time.
