"Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use. "This property was perfect. We were in town to spend time with family. Everything was as described. The kitchen is well stocked. The owners even wrote a note to us and left it on the table with some jam. They were amazing and had great communication throughout. It was super cozy. I wish we would have stayed longer. We will be back next summer as well."

"Perfect for a long weekend up for a tournament. Great location, quiet with easy access to both downtowns. Need to take advantage of the firepits next time! Only comment is it would be great to have a ceiling fan or something in the room - more cross breeze. But overall great!"

A charming place to stay that is quiet, relaxing, easy to get to, close to town, but far enough away, simple, and although there are several cabins, it is also very private in each one. There is also a gas station/convenience store that is very near by which had quick things we needed and even fresh salads to eat on two occasions. "This is a tiny bare bones cabin. Hardly room for a couple. No stove or place to cook. There was microwave and sink. The bed was large but mattress sagged in middle. The drawers were hard to open and close. No one on premises to greet you; access entirely on internet, but internet and phone connection spotty.
