"Staff is super nice, they offered free pick up from Yaizu station to the hotel! There are treats and drinks provided at no extra costs. Onsen are good! The little cat in the hotel is a surprise bonus point for us!"

"The location of the hotel is perfect as its just next to the exit of IC "highway" and Yaizu fish market. Room is good but there were 5 to 6 buds in our room and when we arrive hotel, we were told there is more then enough parking space but we were asked to park the car at another parking that we need to cross around the area. After parking the car, as a foreigner its quite difficult to remember the path back to hotel specially at nite time. Even with google map the path returning to hotel...

"Our goal for our trip to Japan was to hike Mount Fuji, but one of the unexpected highlights was our stay at the Kappo Ryokan Uoichi! Post-hike, we moved from Tokyo to Osaka with a stop at the Ryokan in Shimada. Two families (eight of us) stayed at Kappo Ryokan Uoichi and had a wonderful time.
