Top Mailliard Redwoods State Natural Reserve Hotel Reviews
Anderson Valley Inn
4/10 Poor
"Awkward - more of a cheapo airbnb than a hotel. Bathroom not clean enough - base of toilet hairy and ... not clean. Ex garage type space turned into a room with a kitchenette ...with a stained sink. Mini fridge dirty. Bed the cheap ikea quality. Area rug FILTHY and really worn/due for replacement. Room on a road that is full of loud trucks well past midnight. Place overall seems like it is trying to be on trend but it is really hacky - basically a single family residence chopped up into "hotel" rooms."
"A stunning location for nature lovers and fans of mid century modern design. The rooms are immaculate and the attention to detail was appreciated. The property location is stunning and a dream to wake up along the coast. Already planning to come back for a longer stay."
"Jade at the office was one of the best service people I've come across in all my time, did everything she could to make us as comfortable as possible, voluntarily. Couldn't be happier.
The continental breakfast was nothing too unusual, however it was done with care rather than just placed out junk sweets. Just one example is the hard boiled eggs weren't overdone by an hour or whatever they do at most hotels that turn the yolks into green dry clumps.
I usually don't bother with reviews even with reasonably decent places because "nice" but nothing outstanding doesn't help, but this was definitely worth finding."
"Check in was at the building next door, which wasn’t advertised very clearly. The elevator was inoperable so we had to carry all bags up, which wasn’t a huge deal but inconvenient with a one year old. The restaurant was closed which made for very slim food options in town, glad we brought snacks! Overall wasn’t a horrible place for a quick one night stop on the way to our final destination. "
