Sweet little cottage - perfect for a romantic getaway
We would definitely choose this place again if we stay in Mahone Bay again. It was very clean, well kept and adorable. Kitchen was fully functional. Small, but perfect for a couple on a romantic getaway, or a couple with a small child. My only slightly negative comment is that the bed is a queen, not a king, and the listing does not specify the size of bed. But that's just a very minor point and I would still stay here again.

Perfect cottage getaway
This was a beautifully decorated cottage with more than everything you need or want for a great couples getaway. You could walk to the Main Street of town or drive to numerous other towns nearby in about 10 to 20 minutes. We loved it.

Great location and Everything you need
We just got back from our road trip to the Maritimes and wanted to thank Pam for a lovely stay at her cottage getaway. Her cottage was exceptionally clean, comfortable and in a great location. The kitchen was a great size and lots of glassware and dishes. Parking was great just at the end of the lane, and there was lots of brochure's for idea's to go out exploring the area. Thanks again Pam !

Mahone Bay Hide-Away Exceeded Expectations
Our stay at Mahone Bay Hide-Away was simply the best! A private hide-away in Mahone Bay with all the amenities to make you feel right at home. 5-star rating for decorating and quality of finishes. Felt at home from the minute we walked in. Would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the heart of Mahone Bay.

Cute cottage
Pam provides a cute one bed studio cottage. Everything is super clean and very well appointed. Enjoyed the deck/porch. Short walk into town ( just be aware that it is on a hill which may be problem for some--it worked out fine for us). Easy drive to Lunenburg-wish we had more time to spend there. Also worth the trip to Blue Rocks for gazing at the ocean landscape. Ate excellent dinner at Seaside Shanty in Chester Basin-great view. Thanks, Pam, for sharing your cottage.

Treated like friends or family.
The description is very accurate. It was the cleanest stay we have ever had. Nicely decorated and well furnished. We wanted to stay longer. Beyond that, we had some car issues and the hosts Dave and Pam offered assistance like we were friends or family, even reaching out to us the next day. Wonderful cottage, nice people.

Home away from home
This property was beautiful. It was beautifully decorated and warm and cozy. They thought of everything you could possibly need and it was a short and easy walk into town. Also, only 35 minutes to the best beaches in Nova Scotia. We would highly recommend this property to anyone. We loved it!!!

Peaceful and convenient
The owner originally wanted to meet us at the unit but in the end left a key, which we preferred after a long day of travel. We were looking for lodging not a hosted property. This place was two levels above spotless. Wow! The owners have thoughtfully designed a small place to be very handy. Literally everything (except the orange shampoo in the white bottle) was white. That’s not my personal taste but it was a fine choice for someone else to make. There is an excess, per my personal taste again, of tchotchkes, on every possible surface. This led us to move them aside so we could put down our toothbrushes and books and dinner plates. Not a crisis by any means but it was cluttered. We loved the outdoor spaces and the beautiful blooming window boxes and the easy walk “downtown.”

Perfect relaxing stay
The accommodations were perfect, the place was spotless, beautifully decorated with high end products and was equipped with everything we needed. We were a short walk to stores and restaurants and it was very quiet. If we ever return to this area we will make it a point to stay here again. And the hosts were the best!

Beautiful Getaway!
We loved our time here and only wished it was longer. Beautifully appointed properly, close to the water, restaurants and shops. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay! Highly recommend!

My adult daughter and I stayed here for two nights in May, as she had to do some training at a local business. The cottage was clean, well equipped and very bright. Its location out it within walking distance of Main Street and all its shops, and the ponds and parks are beautiful.

Two day stay
Very nice property close to everything in Mahome Bay. Owner met us at the property and gave us a quick overview of the property and the area. We went right to the local supermarket, since vert few local restaurants were open when we arrived. Thank you Pam and David for having us!

A great place to stay while exploring the region.
We loved unit #1, though it looked a bit like a Pottery Barn showroom. Extremely well equipped, but a bit less decor - vases, candlesticks, dried flowers, pillows- would have given us more room to spread out. We would certainly recommend this to friends heading to NS.

Fabulous couple’s getaway
Pam is a great host, and the property is immaculate. And very tastefully done. It is small, but certainly big enough for two. It’s located about a block from the center of town, and an easy walk to the center of town, where you’ll find good restaurants, especially the Creperie Bretonne if you are a fan of crepes. I highly recommend this little getaway. It’s not on the water, but it doesn’t need to be. Mahone Bay is a very cool little town! Thanks Pam!

What a wonderful visit at this VRBO!
This VRBO had an excellent location, was super cute, very quiet and relaxing. In fact, I was up having my morning coffee on the patio when a great big buck stopped by. We were both startled, but what an encounter. Would absolutely stay here again!

Spoiled Like We Deserve
HomeAway is as pretty as the pictures and immediately felt like home. Great attention to detail that made our stay mindless. Lots of storage, comfy bed, very clean, and 2 patios to enjoy your bevvies. There’s even a BBQ! On site parking but so walkable to town, you’ll only need your car to leave town. We would absolutely return! Thanks Pam & Dave!

Perfect get-a-way
This is the sweetest, most eloquently decorated ‘cottage’ you’d ever want. The place is pristine in it’s presentation. Cosy, warm, with every amenity provided. Quiet street, just minutes to the Main Street where all the delights of Mahone Bay can be enjoyed - can’t wait to go back.

We are an older, retired , professional couple..........who are also very detailed in everything we do, and your HideAway blew us away. Every detail (* see below) was covered to make our stay comfortable, cozy and memorable. Your property is the "Hyatt Regency" of Mahone Bay. (* except for the can opener, which we bought and left it for the next guest)

Serene "hideaway" stay
Pam & Dave were great hosts, making my stay at the hideaway relaxingand carefree. Their adorable cottage was clean, stylish and cozy. Located in a quiet part of town, access was easy to anything in Mahone Bay. I would highly recommend the "hideaway", and hope to stay again in the future.

Excellent Stay
This cottage is exactly as advertised, it is very well decorated and made our stay away from home feel like we were home. The cottage has everything you need and so close to all amenities that we could walk which was great because the parking can be difficult at times. We enjoyed sitting on the front deck during the afternoon and evening and just relaxing. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to get away and relaxing. Beautiful little cottage in perfect location
This little cottage was in the perfect location for exploring the area. We were also in walking distance to Main Street. The cottage had everything we needed and was in immaculate condition. A Gem
This is a lovely cottage, beautifully appointed with everything one could imagine needing: a diamond set in the sapphire blue perfection of Mahone Bay. David, our host, proved to be genial and friendly, without being intrusive, and was only a phone call away if we needed anything. If you're going to be in or around Mahone Bay, I can't imagine a lovelier place to stay.

Amazing place to stay
I have stayed in several cottages over the summer and this by far blew those other cottages out of the water. I will be back for sure whether I’m with my husband or by myself. Pam was amazing at the communication and David was extremely quick to respond and very honest to goodness sorry for this extremely small issue we had. You can certainly tell that your experience at their cottages be flawless and you are happy with it. I would like to thank you both for a wonderful weekend.

Beautiful Getaway
This was the absolute cleanest & tidiest cottage we have ever stayed at. The decor is beautiful. There is every convenience of home in the cottage so basically you just need to bring your suitcase & your food . It is so conveniently located near shops, restaurants, a pharmacy and a grocery store. The cottage is very cozy & quiet. You won't be disappointed. The owners Pam & David are so nice & just a phone call away if you need anything.

This is a cute place. It is a large studio apartment with a full kitchen in a quiet neighborhood. It is a 5 minute walk to all kinds of restaurants and shops. It also has a private outdoor seating area. We highly recommend it.

Cute modern cottage
Great accommodations with attention to details! Pam was great to work with (even when I left some clothes behind) and was quick to respond to any questions I had. This cottage was perfect for us, we even baked brownies one night and did our laundry there in the cottage. It is perfectly arranged with closet space and plenty of storage. I wish we could have stayed longer and enjoyed the deck and BBQ. Very easy to locate and close to town and the grocery store. So many neat towns close by to visit as well.

Huis is met aandacht ingericht, zeer smaakvol. Woning is niet heel groot, maar heel slim ingericht. De woning voelt hier door groter aan dan dat hij is. Prima badkamer, prettig dat er een wasmachine aanwezig is. Woning ligt in een rustige woonstraat, parkeren op eigen terrein, op loopafstand van alle voorzieningen

Beautiful Spot
Beautiful spot nice and close to town but still felt very private. The cottage was exceptional and had everything you could possibly need for a weekend or even a weeks stay! The rental was spotless and very tastefully decorated!
