"We stayed in the larger loft suite, which is actually above the garage and not part of the main house. Things were clean and comfortable. Assumed it was a B&B from the name but were never invited into the house or informed of any breakfast. Also, the door to the bottom suite did not lock from either side, making the stay a bit uncomfortable. Someone doing renovations left the tv on in the bottom suite all night at max volume as well. "

We enjoyed two peaceful rejuvenating weeks in this cozy retreat, close to the ocean, lovely beaches, great food and dining, and great sights. The Hideaway is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, quiet, and very comfortable, Should you be looking for a perfect place to stay in beautiful Nova Scotia, you can't do better than the Hideaway! "Such an incredible place!!!!! Loved everything about the house and area!!! Walking distance to beach, finding sea glass, seeing dolphins and seals in the cove, close to Lunenburg ( which you can see across the cove), watching Anne with an E at night on the tv, I could go on and on about how wonderful this place is… If I ever come back this is where I’m staying!!!!"
