Well-appointed apartment with a great location in Madrid
Four of us stayed at this apartment for 5 nights. Check-in was very smooth. The beds were comfortable. Water pressure and temperature were great in the bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with tableware cutlery and pots and pans. The location was great! We walked to most places, and a taxi stand was across the street for longer distances. Would definitely consider staying there again.

Centrally located/good space/dark
Our family of two parents and two adult children loved the space and location of the flat. We didn’t love how dark it is - the two non-primary bedrooms are the only with natural light while the living room, kitchen, primary bedroom don’t have windows. There was also a very strong sewer smell in the primary bathroom so we couldn’t use it (and for full disclosure I didn’t tell Hans - who is very responsive - about it until checkout as we preferred to use the other bathroom rather than have to even open the smelly bathroom much less deal w a plumber etc)

Central to parks and train station
We stayed for 4 days in madrid and at this apartment. The apartment was very spacious for our needs and had everything we needed for a small family. The beds were comfortable and the showers had good water pressure. The location is great to get anywhere you needed. From the airport we took the train and it can take anywhere from 40 min to 1 hr. The apartment has a lift in it to help move luggage. The balcony overlooks the main street. We were very happy with the quick responses from the hostess

Wonderful Tome in Madrid
Clean and well-kept apartment. Wonderful location and right at a Metro stop. Host was very friendly and informative. We would book here again.

Lovely Apartment/Great Location
This apartment is quite comfortable! The beds were just right and the kitchen was adequately stocked for simple cooking. It’s just right for an easy vacation. We met Valeria upon check-in. She was very helpful in showing us the apartment and giving us information about the area. Hans, the owner, had provided contact numbers for himself and others in case we had any issues. The best part of this unit is the location. Atocha Station is just across the street at the next corner. Great for getting around Madrid or hopping on a train for daytripping around Spain. The museums are all within an easy walk. (The Reina Sofia is on the block!) Retiro park and the Real Jardin Botanico are just around the corner. All in all, an excellent choice for a lovely vacation in Madrid. One warning though….and this has nothing to do with the property! A few doors up the street, there is a small supermarket next door to the Steakburger. This shop does not have price tags on products. The clerk appeared to randomly assign prices. He tried to charge us €45 for a bottle of gin that was €20 just down the block.

Fun in Madrid with friends!
Really enjoyed this apartment. Looked just like the pictures. It was a little smaller but definitely worked for our needs. Communication was excellent with host and his lovely daughter. . Close to the Prado, Reitro park and close to metro. We would definitely book again!

Highly recommend
We had an excellent experience. The apartment is centrally located around the corner from Atocha train station/botanical gardens/Retiro Park. Walkable to most if not a short cab ride. Our host was very responsive and flexible with check in/check out, which we very much appreciated. Everything was very clean and just enough space for 6 of us (2 adults & 4 teens) to sleep. Although we were right along a very busy and loud street, the shades installed completely blocked light and sound. Wonderful home base while exploring beautiful Madrid!

Great condo and location in Madrid

Very convenient but charmless
The apartment's in a wonderful location, perfect for sight-seeing. It's well equipped and I think the mattresses are memory foam - so comfortable. It's entirely charmless, but perfect for a few days.

Excellent apartment
This was a great place to stay! The location was excellent, close to (within walking distance of) almost everything we wanted to see. There are are bus stops in front of the apartment and a subway stop very nearby. The apartment itself has a well-equipped kitchen that's perfect for cooking breakfast. You could cook dinner, too, though we chose to eat out. The owners were excellent at communicating with us. The daughter of the owners met us when we checked in and explained everything thoroughly. We all loved it and would happily stay again.

Convenient and roomy
We liked the location and accessibility. If you are here to see museums then it really cannot be beat due to their proximity and also ease of transit. We rented a car one day at nearby Atocha train station to visit surrounding towns like Segovia. Also took the train one day as well to visit Toledo. Very little noise. Plenty of food and supermarket options in the neighborhood. Valentina (best English-speaking Spaniard I have met) was always available to answer any questions. If you book here you won't be sorry.

Close to Prado and Atocha
Close to the major museums and Atocha Station. Great communication and check-in. The apartment was in need of a few upgrades. The cabinets were peeling in bathroom, the chairs in the kitchen were dusty, the night tables teetered, chairs in living area were very uncomfortable, guest bath shower had mold, master bath had a sewer odor. Beds were comfortable, security rollers on windows helped with street noise, kitchen appliances and counters were clean and well kept. Okay stay

Diana thank you for your tips . The cabinets are small scratches will try replace but working well, The night tables and chairs in living area are working well .The problen the master bath a sewer olor was in the building but now is good. The others tips will be take a soluctions. Hans

Centrally Located
This apartment had a good location close to the Museo del Prado. Taxis are easily accessed right across the street and a pharmacy and restaurants are all around. The host is excellent and was very responsive.

Great location in the heart of the arts district
A nice apartment that is close to the metro, Atocha train station, and everything else you will need. There were grocery stores, restaurants, and a beautiful park within close walking distance. Valen was helpful with check-in and was very available if we needed anything. The apartment was clean and as advertised.

We had a wonderful experience. This is most definitely CITY and the best way it see it. Close to the metro and renfe both so getting around was not a problem. It was easy to contact property mangers if needed and they were very responsive.

Perfect Madrid location!
This was ideal for our group of 5 adults. Comfortable, easy to access, exactly as described, and well-supplied. Appreciate the good communication with the owners. Upstairs neighbors played music until 1:00-2:00 AM, but that's not within the landlord's control and didn't disturb most of us.

Family vacation
We came to visit our son who is living in Madrid. Our daughter joined us on her spring break. The apartment is perfect, and location couldn't be better. Lorenzo was the best check in guide! Highly recommend.

Short stay in a convenient location
We stayed here for six nights in August 2021. We experienced the extreme heat of Madrid with four days over 40C, but this apartment made it bearable with its four air conditioning units. Being on the first floor was nice not having to go up many flights of stairs. The furnishings are all good and the kitchen was easy to use. From this location it was a quick walk to the main train station and a metro stop. Three bus lines operate on the street where the apartment is located. The owner was responsive quickly to our questions.

Excellent location and Apartment
We just loved this apartment. We were promptly met by our host and check-in was fast. The apartment is in an excellent location, we walked everywhere. The apartment is very modern, clean and well equipped with everything that you will need. We were three adults and one toddler. we would highly recommend this apartment.

Great apartment next to Atocha train station!
This was our first time in Madrid and our stay there was great! The apartment is very nice and is exactly as described on the website! No surprises! It is centrally located next to the train station, subways, lots of restaurants, Reina Sophia museum, Starbucks, and a supermarket. The area felt very safe to us. It is not super touristy and that is exactly what we wanted. Hans is very nice and helpful. He was very prompt in meeting us at the apartment and helping with our questions. We would definitely stay at Hans place again!

Ideal Atocha, indeed!
From the moment we arrived at the property, Han's Associate Lorenzo was waiting for us, and ready to show us around. Lorenzo was very thorough in his tour, and very responsive during our stay. The property is in excellent condition, clean and comfortable. The street noise is minimal at night, and many dining opportunities are right out the front door. Noting it as a three bedroom is a bit of a misnomer though, since the third “bedroom” is an open room at the front door. The property's location was perfect for exploring Madrid. Easy access to train station for our day-trip to Toledo (highly recommend that excursion!!). Caught a 10:20 train, arrived in Toledo by 11:00, 4-5 hours more than enough to experience the town, 4:18 train back to Madrid and my wife and I enjoyed the plaza behind our building with a glass of wine and a bite to eat. The unit is within walking distance to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Ristero Park, a number of museums and plenty of dining options. All in all, Ideal Atocha apartment allowed us to visit our daughter studying in Madrid, tour the town and surrounding local with her, and see Madrid from a great “home base”. We sincerely recommend this property for your trip to Madrid, you will love it.
