Private 5-6 bedroom house, large living room, dining, family rooms and dinette. Large deck, patio, and outdoor sitting area. Conveniently located on Madison's near-west side(just off University Ave.) on very large wooded lot. The house is a straight shot from the University and Camp Randall and an easy drive to the AIRPORT by going around the north side of Lake Mendota.

Perfect for family reunions, wedding parties, football games, small conferences, and for the business traveler.

House is on a large wooded lot and offers privacy rarely found in the city. Has wood burner, outdoor fireplace, and off-street parking. It is about 3 miles west of UW campus.

The house was great! Roomy enough for everyone to spread out. The house had everything we needed to prep for the various events for my son's wedding. The property was on a beautiful lotand the neighborhood was very quiet. Richard was very responsive when we accidentally tripped the circuit breaker. Would definitely stay again.

We had a group of 5 and this worked out great. Beds were decently comfy. Utilized the fire pit which was a bonus.

Amazing Madison Stay

My extended family and I had a beautiful stay for a family reunion. the house is spacious and has everything you need to enjoy a trip to Madison. Would highly recommend to anyone and especially large groups with kids!

Great family home

Magical home and property

We had a delightful stay in Madison. The home was wonderfully quirky. The yard was huge; my corgi loved his walks outside! Geese, turkeys, rabbits, and squirrels visited. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere, great art, living and dining area for times together, and different spaces for when we had to work. The home was 4 minutes from Whole Foods. And an easy drive to the university, botanical gardens, and amazing restaurants.

Family Time in Madison

This was a wonderful place to celebrate a late Christmas with family! Richard’s home is very comfortable, well equipped and so beautifully designed. We would book this or any of his properties anytime!

Family emergency

Had a family member in the hospital and had to find something spacious for all of us. Richard was a great host and very accommodating. His place is conveniently located near the hospital and was well stocked for our large group.

Amazing House in madison

This home was perfect for our group of 7 visiting for a Wisconsin football game! Plenty of room exists inside of the home allowing for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. However, the best part of the home is the ample outdoor seating area that allowed for great conversation from within our group. You will not be disappointed stay in this home!

A great stay for Ironman Wisconsin!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property! As before very clean, plenty of amenities towels, kitchen tools etc. Lots of space to spread out. I love the peaceful wooded lot! It is SO easy to drive back and forth to the Ironman Wisconsin triathlon course, close to downtown and the run turn around on the Howard Temin path. Is also very close to restaurants and grocery stores. Definitely would stay again!

Great family gathering house

This house was great! Spacious, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, plentiful spaces for hanging out and conversing/playing games/watching TV, plenty of towels, beautiful yard and patios/decks, nice Solo Stove outside for an evening fire. Great location, short walk to the lake and playgrounds. Richard was responsive to questions. For our next family gathering, we will likely try to book this place again.

We really enjoyed staying at Richard’s house. It had plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen was stocked, the outside seating area was so nice. Richard was very nice and helpful. And quick to respond if we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again!! Thanks Richard!!

Fantastic Location/VERY clean!

This house is tucked back on a wooded lot, with a circle drive, making it easy to get in and out of! Lots of little wildlife to watch from all the downstairs windows. A great place to stay for Ironman Wisconsin, as it was a straight shot drive to parking and the race course! Also close to grocery stores and restaurants. We’ve stayed in A LOT of VRBOs and this one was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in! Plenty of towels, and incidentals in case you forget something! We will be staying again! It was a great stay!

A country stay in the city

This is a great house for gatherings of friends and family. It is conveniently located near all of Madison's cultural and recreational offerings, while tucked away on a hidden cove that provides for a peaceful environmental retreat. The home is well stocked with anything you need. Our party had seven adults, two children, and a dog. The decks and kitchen table provided ample room for conversation. I was also very taken with the cleanliness of the home. Impeccable.

Clean, quiet and great location

This house is located close to a Main Street heading to campus but was set back in the woods and very quiet. The house was clean and spacious. We didn’t have an opportunity to cook or hang out much but I would recommend this house.
