It was a wonderful stay! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The shuttle picked us up within 5 min he's. The view was so awful

I stayed here two separate times in two different rooms within a week. First stay was fine everything seemed clean and well kept. Second stay was room 206 and the counter was falling down in the bathroom and looked like someone attempted to glue it back together. A lot of other things were falling apart. Outlets and lights didn’t work on the beds. Spiders on the ceiling hasn’t been dusted in a long time. Not satisfied for the price I paid.

I rolled into town early and I knew the room would not be ready but I had a case of wine in the car and wanted to get it out of the heat. The desk clerk could not accommodate me checking the box, she said they had no room. Hell she could have just set it on the floor, clear doesn’t understand basic customer service and what hotel doesn’t allow to check a bag. Now on to the room, they did not clean or make the bed. More and more hotels are doing this but usually there is a sign or you have to request it which we did after the first night. The tile on the front of the sink was barely hanging on the face. Mind you it’s a 12x24 inch piece. Could have fallen on someone. The shower curtain bar was a curved one but some the screws were missing so the curtain itself slide to the middle allowing the water from shower to spray everywhere. It was a great location easy to walk to ferry just some very basic upkeep would made this very nice unfortunately it was disappointing and I travel every month one of the worst places I have stayed at in long time

This place is definitely dated, but for the money is well worth it. We only stayed for one night and weren't too concerned about the place. Just needed a place to sleep. The setup with 2 beds "separated" by the bathroom was great for our family. Also lived the lake view and balcony. Free shuttle to ferry was a pleasant surprise as well. As stated, if you need a quick stay highly recommend this place.

The room was huge and we loved the privacy the bathroom in between provided for each bedroom. The view from the balcony was very nice too. Our biggest complaints are the beach area which is all weeds and rocks and the lack of clarity on the free breakfast. We were told upon arrival that there is no free breakfast available anymore and were given coupons for local restaurants. We were miffed since we thought our hotel cost included breakfast every morning. We ended up spending nearly $200 eating breakfast out every morning at the Mackinaw Bakery. We came to find out on our last day that there was actually a full hot breakfast available with eggs, pancakes, meats etc. but we were never informed of it. When questioned the front desk they claimed they only serve breakfast when big groups are staying at the hotel and that between check in and check out enough people came in to warrant breakfast although we were never informed of it. We might have noticed if we’d have left through the main entrance every morning but we were right by the stairs and exit door… Any kind of note on our door or ring to our room or literally any kind of alert to the full breakfast bar available would have been nice. We paid for our room just like everyone else and to only provide food when they deem enough people are in the hotel is bad business practices. Very disappointing experience.

Came in early said come back at 4 room wasn't ready. Asked if it was top floor was told yes. We were tired from walking around for 2 hours when we came back didn't notice we were 3rd floor so after an hour of someone child running back and forth for my husband went to desk. After he expained and said we were told we had top floor she said we never asked for that. Finally said they would give us a 4th floor room. Manager asked had anything been used said no but remembered he had opened soap said "well thats used Jesus Christ now I have to seen send someone up there" Found that very offensive for a manager.I was very shocked to hear a manager say that to a customer.

The hotel is located on the main street, though it is quite far from downtown. The lobby is welcoming, and the front desk staff were polite and helpful. We liked the balcony in our room—it offered a nice, low view that was pleasant to relax on. However, the room itself felt outdated. The linens on the bed appeared wrinkled, and the blanket was of poor quality. The beach area was also disappointing. It was in poor condition, with mismatched furniture scattered all over the place, which took away from the otherwise beautiful lake view. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay if you’re mainly planning to be outdoors and just need a place to sleep.
