"Stayed in March with family of 3. Booked the basic room and was upgraded on arrival. Property undergoing some construction but we did not appreciate any noise in our room in the early morning or late at night.
The good: Legacy property in Macau with huge rooms regardless of which room type you book. Connected to the Shoppes at Venetian which is a shopper’s paradise. Overall clean, if a bit dated and in need of refurbishment. Easy to get around with taxis always available and shuttle buses that take you to the ports/airport or the Sands Casino.
The not so good: Old rooms in need of a makeover. The smoking smell is prominent despite being in a non smoking room. The massive size of the property makes self handling of luggage ill advised and therefore, your luggage timing is at the mercy of hotel staff. No safe in the room. We got a connecting room and neighbours were fairly loud and at times you could hear their conversation clearly.
All in all, this is my third time at the property. Not bad value at all, but if you want a more luxurious stay, there are plenty of other options around at a slightly higher price point."
