MGM Park

This is a honest review. The hotel location I liked because it was away from the crowds. Its not a far walk to Bourbon street maybe like 15 minutes. The hotel staff was great. The hotel itself is ok it is not your 5 star. The rooms are dated. My room was clean however I found a fake eyelash by my bed which leads me to believe they did not do a good cleaning. I have pictures to show and I do not wear fake eyelashes so it was not mines. Will I stay there again possibly but it will not be my first choice. Overall not bad if you are looking for something within your budget. Also they have a cool bowling alley right next door for some entertainment.

This was one of many visits to New Orleans, and decided to stray from my usual hotel and stay here. The building and interior decor are incredible and the pool area is beautiful! The front desk was super helpful with getting our AC fixed promptly and ordering us a taxi back to the airport. We had a balcony that we could go onto from our room, which was awesome, but there was a gap in the door, and the day it down poured, water did leak into the room. The floor under the sink in the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been swept in a while, and honestly the whole room felt that way. Our socks and bottoms of our feet were always covered in tons of dust. Also, due to the hallways and room floors being wood, sound echoed really bad, and you can hear everything inside the room. Overall, I think the hotel was a great place to stay and within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go!
