Luther Burbank's Experiment Farm

The room they booked is in had a soaked rug. We requested a different room and the staff was accommodating. The new room was dark, the curtains were torn, the bathroom door had a glob of either glue or Vaseline and you could see a bunch bugs under the glob. The furniture was old and not in a good way. While the property looked really nice on the outside, the rooms looked like they had just given up. Even the cookies, a signature item, were terrible. We will not stay at another doubletree hotel.

High cost for resort fee and parking given the room cost. Main restaurant menu and food marginal. Coffee shop excellent.
