Lunzjata Valley

I can't say enough good things about this hotel! I stayed for a week and loved it. Everything was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The service was wonderful, and I even received a text checking to make sure I was okay when I stayed elsewhere for one night. Would recommend to anyone but especially to fellow solo female travelers!

We loved our stay in this hotel and felt like 5* did not do it justice ! The room was spacious and looked amazing. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. It was located at the heart of Valletta yet slightly away from the busiest streets that were noisier so was very peaceful. We enjoyed having the lounge area as an extra place to relax away from the room. We retuned for an extra night and had a slightly smaller room, the only downside with that room was having stairs down to the toilet. We were nearly put off booking this hotel by the reviews commenting on the steps - the reality is that much of Valletta is hilly with slopes or steps. Going down to Lascaris Wharf there were only about 50 steps and it took about five minutes to reach the ferry. There are only about ten rooms.

I stayed for 3 nights and the hotel and its location were perfect. Bang in the centre, everything was at a stretch of your hand. The room was specious, well appointed, with a small balcony from which you can see the sea. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was served on the terrace. I would say the choice of food is varied but it’s a bit of a squeeze when it comes to getting your food. Not much space to wait in a queue. I was also disappointed that there were only paper cups for the drinks. However, you do get proper cups and glasses in your room. Also, a fridge with free cold drinks. Variety of tea and a coffee machine are also in your room. All in all, I would happily return if I’m in Valletta again.
