"Stayed for one night on journey heading South. Clean and comfortable hotel room. Evening meal was very good but with a limited menu, especially for vegetarian friends we were with. Good position with plenty of parking and small garden. Our dog enjoyed the stay as well ! Have also booked for our return journey."

We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. The cups were not changed and the floor was not cleaned (we stayed for 4 nights. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very poor value for €9. "Fantastic place to stay. It was all that we had expected and more. The host was most helpful and friendly. The room and facilities, the house and it's ground, the location and the lovely breakfast meant we had a great overnight stay. In a pretty little town which had a number of restaurants to eat in, within easy walking distance."

There is a very large Le Clerc close by with a restaurant which provided a good evening meal and an opportunity to get items to take home. "
