Wonderful guesthouse, with a large room and bath. I loved the traditional design and old wood. The location is amazing. The staff is welcoming and helpful. Guests need a few additions to make it perfect: an iron and ironing board, some tea, maybe a couple of bananas and crackers for jet-lagged travelers, these kinds of things :)

Located in the center of downtown. It’s quite convenient to go restaurants, coffee shops and anywhere. Mekon river runs in front of the hotel and walking is also fun along with river Many restaurants have tables where you can see Mekon river and boats

Coming out of a difficult circumstance being sholut out of my previous reservation, I first met with Souk at the hotel desk who showed me personally to my room and was so warm and welcoming... It completely flipped the script from the previous experience. That there was food being served that night along the river was fantastic after not eating the entire day. Was ever so thankful to have a bath at this location and a desk to work from. It was the perfect experience after what could have been a horrible first impression left from the other Chinese run guesthouse which I booked but they could not accomodate. 10 Stars to these folks. Specifically Souk

Great value for money. The hotel’s go-to guys, Souk, is really helpful and nice. But I think need better pillows. The pillows were hard and I had neck and shoulder ache when I woke up. Other than that, it was a good place to stay

A wonderful place to stay !

I stayed 9 nights here in Villa Phonetip and it was perfect. I had room 4 which had its own private entrance up a little lane way with view of the Meekong. I could sit on my private balcony and watch the sunset each evening ! The location is perfect with lots of riverside restaurants very nearby and it’s only a few minutes walk to the Main Street and night markets. The rooms are large, bright and clean with good air con. Finally the staff could not have been more helpful in arranging a few tours and bike rental. Always a pleasant smile and greeting. I fully recommend this hotel and look forward to returning some day !

Nice central walkable location. Nice staff but do charge extra for various things. Room was good but lacking cleaning. Ac was making noise and i checked it and air filter was dirty and we had to clean it. Hot water 1st day didnt work but worked day 2 and 3

Pleasant stay

We had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious and perfectly suited to the size of our family. The view of the famous lake from our room was a real highlight, and the hotel's location is ideal. The hotel staff was very friendly and always attentive to our needs, which made our stay even more enjoyable. However, the breakfast was a disappointment. It is outsourced to a nearby restaurant, and the food quality was average. The selection was quite limited, and what really spoiled the experience was the attitude of the restaurant owner. He closely monitored our plates and didn't hesitate to remind us not to take more than one portion, even for items like bananas. It was quite unpleasant and created an uncomfortable atmosphere during breakfast, which is a shame because the rest of our stay was very enjoyable. This was really the only downside of our experience.

I really like the location. Walk out of the unit and you are in the middle of the action. I prefer this neighborhood than the one closer to night market. Room was very apacious, functional layout and lots of surface area to put out your stuff. There was no view but I wasn’t after any view.
