We loved our stay for a quick getaway. We arrived on a Sunday. Our only wish was that the market and coffee shop were open for a snack before dinner. Other than that it was wonderful!

What's in a name?

Well, oddly enough, at Cave Hill Cemetery, there's a hill, with a cave.

A natural spring spills forth from this 246 ft deep cave. Standing upright, the cave could be explored for about 100ft. No, it's not allowed... There is a colony of bats that inhabit the cave. Bats pouring from a cave at dusk in a cemetery would be quite a visual.

Phoenix Hill

While Phoenix Hill isn't home to many top sights, Nulu Market Place and Thomas Edison House are some notable places to visit nearby.

Phoenix Hill
Built in 1865, by a German immigrant, this house survived a flood in 1937 and was set to be razed 1953 to make room for the expansion of the city dump.

The facade was saved and now is plopped in the middle of a road.
