Once you are in the home, the views from both the floors are gorgeous. We even saw dolphins swim by a few days. As the water recedes, you can simply walk down and access the beach and walk around for nearly a mile. As access is private, there are very few others on the beach. Perfect during COVID-19. Location is ideal to explore Malibu.
We enjoyed our stay. The host was very welcoming and dropped off a blender to help with our dietary needs.
A few considerations to keep in mind
* The turn to get into the property from the highway and out from the property to the highway is awkward (but probably acceptable by Malibu standards). Parking is hard but do-able for those not used to Malibu.
* Overall condition of the property was great, but it needs a bit more love to make it a sanctuary -e.g. Master toilet seat was wobbly, there is a crack in one the mirrors, the master bath didn't have an exhaust fan and there was a toilet paper roll tucked in to make it work, the downstairs bathroom shower makes loud noises when operated. But these were really minor when compared to what the property offers in terms of its location and views.
