Chestnut Suite with pool & hot tub

Slip into the shared hot tub for a nighttime soak on the softly lit patio, framed by blooming vines. This bright, recently renovated suite offers a private entrance and a private ensuite bathroom for your comfort. The backyard, pool, & hot tub are shared spaces.

The serene property is just minutes from the beach—perfect for sunset strolls. Nestled in the quiet Wrigley neighborhood, it’s also a short drive to downtown Long Beach and LA where world-class shopping, dining, and attractions await.

This is a private rooftop suite on top of a two-story house that is accessed by a spiral staircase.

A professional interior decorator with impeccable taste led a ground-up renovation of the Suite and the entire property in 2025. Everything is brand new; furniture, appliances, Smart TV, decor AND freshly renovated; new paint, carpet, tile, windows and doors.

Host lives on the bottom floor of the house, and we rent out other spaces to guests on the property.

Guests have shared access to the beautiful pool, hot tub, back yard and rooftop deck.

Street parking only. Driveway is reserved for other guests.

Host lives on site and will be present throughout the visitor’s stay to answer any questions via the AirBnB app.

The property is nestled in the heart of the historic residential Wrigley neighborhood in Long Beach. It's safe, close to the beach, close to downtown Long Beach, and not too far from all of the fun in Los Angeles and Orange County.

We have a strict no-party policy. We consider a party any gathering of people at our home who are not listed on your booking. A party is a violation of our house rules and will be reported to AirBnB to have the stay cancelled without a refund.
- 1. I've put a lot of love and care into creating a comfortable space. Please just respect the space.
- 2. No Smoking or drugs inside.
- 3. Please turn off the Air Conditioner/heater, lights and the TV when leaving the room. It is not economical to have it running all day.
- 4. No Photo Shoots, No Filming.
- 5. No events, parties or large gatherings (no extra guests for pool/spa).
- 6. Please let us know if anything is broken so we can repair or replace for the next guest.
- 7. No pool/spa after 10PM. The main backyard is a common area, for all guests to share and use the pool, spa and fire pit - so just use common sense.
- 8. Street parking only. Driveway is reserved for other guests.

The property was beautiful and tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spa-like. We appreciated the rooftop sofa and coffee table outside, otherwise there wouldn’t have been anywhere to eat the breakfast which we had delivered. There weren’t really many dining options within walking distance, but the main tourist areas were a short drive away. Parking is adequate— 3 driveway spaces for four rental units (first come first served). A sign indicated an honor bar, which had overpriced candy and snacks, and mentioned that two water bottles were free with the room, but those particular water bottles were not in the refrigerator. The hot tub and pool were a wonderful option, and we enjoyed both; I wish there were more hooks in the unit to hang our suits and towels to dry. Both suits and towels were still wet and freezing cold the next day so that was a little discouraging. The host was responsive to my questions by text, once we realized that the VRBO app wasn’t sending his responses. That was a problem on VRBO‘s part, not his, I gathered . I would caution anyone with mobility issues or balance issues that the rooftop units are only reachable by a very narrow spiral staircase, and it’s challenging navigating with luggage. Monday’s rain made the surface guests have to walk very wet and slippery. Otherwise, the stay was completely wonderful. Thank you, Jeremy!
