遅いチェックインになってしまったが、スタッフの方が丁寧に案内してくださった。お部屋も綺麗で掃除も行き届いていたが、日本から行く場合は、スリッパと歯ブラシは持参必須です。

こじんまりとしたセンスのよいホテルです。 朝は６～９時まで2階にてコーヒーが無料でいただけます。 毎日ではないのかもしれませんが、 ホットチョコレートもありました。 マシュマロやチョコレートチップも置いてあって、 つい長居をしたくなります。 （お部屋にコーヒーの用意はありません） また17～18時はワインのサービスがあり、無料でいただけますが、ちょっとしたおつまみ（フライドポテトとオープンサンド） もあるので、小腹も満たせます。 またこの時期だけかもしれませんが、 ブランデーをホットサイダーで割るドリンクがあり、 こちらもおいしかったです。 レンタル自転車もあり無料で借りられます。 わたしはこれでチャイニーズあたりまでサイクリングしました。 またヘルメットも無料で貸してくれます。 また屋上のプールやカフェも雰囲気がいいので、 ぜひ利用してみてください。

地下鉄が開通すれば都心部からは便利かな
初めてのロサンゼルスだったので、最初はメトロセンター駅からタクシーで行きました。ホテルの名前を言っても知らない運転手が多かったです。美術館の先だと言えばわかってくれました。だいたい３５ドルくらいかかりました。 ２日目からはバスと地下鉄で行き来しました。バス停からはすぐで、かなりの本数があるので、バスはドキドキですが便利です。地下鉄の延伸工事をしていたので、延伸されればかなり便利になるかもしれません。地下鉄もドキドキです。美術館までも歩いてすぐです。（夜は綺麗です。） ルーフトップのプールバーは写真のままで、とてもかっこよかったです。

施設全体が小さすぎるように思いました。
評価が高かったので期待して行ったのですが少し残念です。まずホテルが非常に小さく6階建てのホテルの屋上に小さなレストランがあるだけの施設といった感じです。早く着いたのでランチをレストランで食べようとしたら混んでて入れませんでした。その後チェックインまでビジネスセンターで作業をしていたのですが、ルームナンバーが発行できないため、Wi-Fi を15分ごとにチャージされる条件でしか使用できないと言われ、自分の携帯のテザリングで我慢しました。部屋は広くきれいでしたが相当額を払っているので当然かと思います。部屋はいいとして、もう少し施設としてのファシリティが充実していないと４つ星とは言えないと思います。

便利が場所。親切なサービス。
ロサンゼルス郡美術館（LACMA）や、ファーマーズ・マーケットまで歩いていける距離で、とても便利です。WiFiの接続に手間取りましたが、フロントで助けてもらえました。２階のラウンジで、朝のコーヒーサービスと、夕方のワインサービスがあり、利用価値大です。付近をジョギングするためのマップもあります。屋上のレストランは、眺めが最高ですが、料金が高めで、少しメニューが少ない気がしました。

It may suite for leave me alone type
Good Twin room is enough for single use. The shower room and the rest room are clean and cozy. The bathtowls and the soap are organic and very comfortable. Bad You could hear the sounds next to your room or up or down. False fire alarms hindered my sleep twice a night. It was my first experience in a hotel which shold offer a peaceful rest. It stays far from anywhere except for LACMA. There are no porters and no porch for a taxi.

清潔な真っ白いベッド、フェザーピローで、ゆったりと疲れがとれる。バスタブも大きく気持ちがいい。歩いて美術館をまわるのもいいし、ビジネスにもオススメです。フロントの対応も早い。お手頃感のある大きさで、無駄なく行き届いている。

特にフロントデスクの人（滞在中すごくHelpfulだった人がいました）の対応が素早く的確でした。 お掃除も行き届いていました。 外に出ている看板が目立たないためちょっと場所がわかりにくいので注意が必要です。 また是非泊まりたいです。 アメリカでそう思った数少ないホテルの１つです。

Location is key.
The hotel itself was amazing. Friendly staff, sizeable rooms (for LA), great restaurant and rooftop/heated-pool. My only complaint would be the neighborhood. I've stayed at a couple of Kimpton's in LA, and this would have to be my least favorite... only because of the location.

I have stayed at my share of 4-star hotels, and this was not a 4-star experience. In fact, there are 3-star hotels that deserve a higher rating in comparison. Pros: - The hotel is located in a safer neighbourhood relative to the DTLA area and provided easy access to our destinations. - Considering it is on a busy road, it was very quiet and we were not bothered by any noises. - Modern and well-kept. - Ample bathroom counter and shower space. - Has cute little rooftop bar with great cocktails. - Very polite valet service. Cons: - We stayed for 8 nights and were only given one pair of slippers. When we asked for a second pair, we were told they were out of stock and would have to wait a few days. A few days went by and when we asked again, we were told they didn't stock slippers. (??) - No pen/penpad in the room, and it was difficult to get in touch with the front desk when we needed assistance. - Room service removed our water glasses one day and left us without any. When we called the front desk to ask for some, they were delivered after two hours. - There are a number of hidden fees to watch out for, in particular the $46/night valet parking, as well as the $25/night service charges (which include WiFi). - In-room snacks were outrageously priced. - Staff were polite, but not extremely warm or helpful. Overall, was it horrible? No. However, I'm astounded at the level of service and lack of basic amenities for a hotel with a 4-star rating. Would not stay here again.
