I booked this room because it appeared close to 2 blocks from the conference I was attending. The morning of check in, I got an email that their office had moved, and I would need to travel to a location almost a mile and a half away to get my key. Since I had no car, this required an expensive Uber through LA traffic. They didn't seem to understand the issue. I waited to my key while nothing worked since they just set up - the printer wasn't connecting, the computer was slow. I finally got my key and Uber'd, again, back to the original location. This all took about an hour.
When I arrived, I opened my room door and walked into a room that looked like someone had just left. The bed sheets and comfortable were rumpled on the bed in a way that was clear someone had just flung them off themselves. Toilet paper was hanging off the bathroom, nothing clean. I called and they told me to go BACK to the office to sort it out, and after telling them there was no way I was paying for another Uber to fix this, I told them I wanted an immediate refund and I left the hotel.
