Casa Maria, a house we stayed in for nearly six weeks with my husband, our small dogs, and friends, offered a unique experience compared to our previous rentals. As a remote worker, I particularly appreciated the presence of desks in each bedroom, allowing me to set up a dedicated workstation in various areas of the house.The house boasts a spacious, bright lot with a courtyard and upper patio that receives ample morning and afternoon sunlight. Unlike many Loreto Bay homes that can feel enclosed and claustrophobic, designed for the summer heat, Casa Maria’s open layout provides a refreshing and airy atmosphere. The courtyard, with its landscaping, felt like having our own private yard, making it ideal for our dogs. There was also ample space for bicycles, beach chairs, and even paddleboards.Each bedroom was well-equipped with a smart TV, efficient air conditioning, comfortable pillows, towels, and linens. This level of amenities is not always found in other rentals. The kitchen was also well-stocked and featured a freezer with an ice maker, which was a significant plus.The communication between the owner and property manager was prompt and efficient. The owner even went above and beyond by allowing us to extend our stay, which we greatly appreciated.It is important to note that the problems noted in previous reviews are not exclusive to Casa Maria.
