Great Location on Lopez Island

This house on Shoal Bay was a terrific place to spend thanksgiving. The house had everything you’lol beed to cook and enjoy a fabulous meal including an amazing view. Super close to the ferry and a short drive to town as well as all the great hiking and view spots.

Private and Cozy

This house was very clean, cozy and quiet. We loved the giant windows overlooking the bay, the jetted tub, and walking down to the little beach just steps from the house. Definitely recommend.

Great Stay

It was perfect. Only two things the batteries were burned out in the flash lights and the oven needed cleaning. Coasters would also be nice. Will come again

This is a beautiful home, but we were disappointed upon check-in, as it appeared to have not been cleaned prior to our visit.

Fantastic Bay Views Right on the Water!

The house location was ideal for our island stay. We could see the San Juan Ferries across the water as they made their routes...especially at night when they were all lit up. The house was spacious and very light with a large wall of windows overlooking the bay. We would definitely book this house again!

Beautiful spot on Lopez Island.

The location of the house is perfect, not too far from the ferry landing and not too far from the village. The house feels secluded and offers a beautiful view of the San Juan’s. The house is clean, up to date and had comfy furniture. The hot tub was a great added bonus. They do not provide spices, cooking oil or foil so be prepared before your stay to pick those up before you get to the house. I also would recommend bringing your own cooking knifes since the ones at the house are not too sharp. The only complaint we had during our stay was the sink would back up… and we were only rinsing cups and utensils. The washer also seemed to be broken, it would fill will water but it would not spin at all. Luckily we were only staying for a few days so we did not mind having to go to the laundromat on the island. Overall the house is spacious, super clean and it was an overall great experience.

Beautiful view and lovely home

Our stay on Lopez Island was enhanced by this beautiful home on Shoal Bay. The house was quite comfortable for our family group of five. We enjoyed the quiet, the views of a nearby marina, ferries passing by, and watercraft, cooking, relaxing on the deck and walking the shoreline, and puzzles. We would love to come back!

Secluded and beautiful property! Best location on the bay!

We had such an incredible time during our stay here! The home was stunning! We happened to arrive the day prior to a snow storm, so were greeted with over a foot of snow our first morning. The home stayed so warm the whole time - we loved the little stove on the main floor! The house was fully equipped with everything that we needed to cook all of our meals - pots, pans, utensils, plates. I noticed a few comments said to bring your own oil and butter for cooking - which we expected to do anyway so we don't think a home should be responsible for having any food. So we brought all our own cooking oils and spices. The tub up in the master was a nice treat as well with some beautiful views. The location was great - Shoal Bay is so pretty and we enjoyed watching the ferry come and go. Also enjoyed some walks on the beach and saw two bald eagles and a sea otter. Such an amazing trip and a great way to re-charge! Hope to be back during the warmer months!

Beautiful and family friendly

This location is prettier than the pictures- a big flat yard leads to the beach with mountains and ferry views. The house is very comfortable and family friendly. We loved our stay here in winter and hope to come back in warmer weather as well!

We enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Overall we enjoyed our stay! When we arrived the floors were slightly dirty with pine needles on carpets and light dirt. Crumbs and glass rings on table. Dishes in dishwasher were dirty. But overall beautiful house, beautiful location. Thank you!!!

Terrific Spot for a Quiet Weekend

Six of us gathered for a weekend getaway that would be quiet. This location did not disappoint! The views of the bay were incredible, the furnishings were comfortable, and we enjoyed our nice secluded area. We look forward to staying here again!

Nice home and Location

The home is nice and roomy, but the cheap pillows, outdated and stained couches were not good. Not only that they were not comfortable. Most places have spices, aluminum foil and saran wrap for people, but this place had little to offer. So if you go bring your own spices, sugar, flour etc.... Out of twenty or so containers for spices there were maybe two. It wasn't worth the price to us, we've had better even being on the water.
