  • This custom built 2 story, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath home right on the bluff of Lookout Mountain, GA offers majestic views, peaceful and calming scenery and the chance to feel like you are right at home. Our goal is to provide what we would want in a vacation home for your family, and more. It is exceptionally clean and fully stocked. Throughout your stay we want to take your breath away.
    Relax and unwind on the balcony with a cup of coffee, on the patio with a glass of wine with dinner, or by the firepit at night as you watch the sunset. This is a perfect location for a romantic getaway or as a base for outdoor adventures and sight seeing with the family.
    Parties are strictly forbidden, and no guests over the number included in the reservation are allowed.
    This home is nearby many attractions, including Cloudland Canyon State Park, Ruby Falls, Rock City, the Incline Railway, and the largest hang gliding park.
    Chattanooga is also only 13 miles away in which you'll be able to visit the Chattanooga Aquarium, the Chattanooga Choo Choo, The Discovery Museum, a variety of excellent fine dining options, and much, much more!

Fantastic views, even with overcast weather. The master bedroom mattress was SO comfortable. We spent most of our time in the gorgeous, fully-stocked kitchen or enjoying the amazing views from EVERY window. We had local family (sister, BIL, and 2 teenagers) over for dinner and game night and the set up was perfect. Thank you for making a trip to see family so memorable.

We had an excellent long weekend at this mountain top retreat. Nice and quiet. Great views of the valley. Very easy to get into Chattanooga for dinner and a show. We wil definitely look for this place next time we need a get away.

The best place ive stayed in a long time

I cannot recommend this location enough! The view is beautiful constantly, from sunrise to sunset and all the stars you could possibly see. The house is clean, the neighbors are not too close, and there’s a little convenience store within walking distance. I will absolutely rebook here. The check in process was easy and the hosts respond quickly.

Perfect Stay On Top of Lookout Mountain

This was a super clean 2 bedroom 2.5 bath property on Lookout Mountain halfway between Covenant College and the Hang-Gliding Flight Park (Launch). The views from inside and out were beyond beautiful. With a view to the west, we took in an amazing sunset! The host were quick to respond, helpful and accommodating. Massive master bedroom and ensuite bath on main level and 2nd bedroom with full bath upstairs. Big windows, big mirrors, Pot coffee or Keurig, comfortable furniture and a Host Book with everything you could need. I highly recommend if the size fits your group.

Rest and Relaxation

So often, the pictures of the listing are far better than the home itself; but in this case, the house was as beautiful and clean as the pictures! It was almost akin to Dorothy walking through the monochrome Kansas and then stepping into the colorful world of Oz. Here, don’t judge a book by its (front) cover. The house is right on a fairly-busy mountain road, so be wary if you have a young child. But then we opened the front door and we were in another world! Completely quiet and peaceful, with the most beautiful, expansive view. Everything is hardwood (which I love) and leather couches and chaise and ottoman. The cleaning crew is excellent because the house is literally spotless. Although it’s not a large house square footage wise, it feels huge because it is perfectly furnished to emphasize the expansiveness of the mountaintop environment. Everything in the house makes sense, and we wanted for nothing. The owners are attentive, communicative and an absolute pleasure to interact with. I was there with my toddler who exclaimed loudly every day, “I LOVE this house!” The upper deck leads to a lovely, cozy courtyard; the lower deck is perfect for cold nights and hot cocoa in the Adirondack chairs. When you’re inside the house or out back, you truly feel like you’re in a retreat in the middle of nature. We struggled with getting the motivation to go out and do activities in the city because we didn’t want to leave the house! We can’t wait to return!
