"The room was extremely cold upon arrival. Had to put the heat. The TV is limited in channels. A person might want to plan alternative. Easy access to the hotel from the highway. Restaurant Bio was average for food quality. Also was extremely cold for the time of year ( end of September)"

"The Salmon River Country Inn is located on the water, just off the road (road noise was not an issue at all), and has its own restaurant on site where you have breakfast and can get dinner. Indeed, we had dinner overlooking the bay at sunset, watching a sea otter hunt: very picturesque. Staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is typical continental with a German leaning (the dinner menu is seafood and German). The only real downside is the rooms are on the small side, but you can sit downstairs to work and such. Overall it was a nice place to stay a couple nights exploring the coast."

"The room was beautifully decorated with a beach and ocean theme, and the fine details were clearly considered including a very well equipped kitchenette, soft robes and so much more. The view of the beach and ocean from the room and its location literally right out your door was the experience we were looking for; and the hike to the peak overlooking the ocean was a great perk. Jane is a wonderful, friendly, attentive host, and gave us all the privacy we like. The exterior of the property building needs some TLC and updating, and the indoor hottub was not in a setting we would choose personally. Otherwise it was a really beautiful experience!"

"What a fun and unique way to spend our 20th wedding anniversary! The staff go above and beyond to inform you of how everything works before you go (watch the video!!). We especially loved the private hot tub and super comfortable bed! The view was amazing and our time there was very relaxing! It wasn’t as remote as we imagined (it’s on a residential street) but that was a feature for us as we weren’t far from town or Halifax. We stayed for 2 nights and that seemed the perfect amount of time to really enjoy and relax in the space."

"We spent one night here at this beautiful location. We enjoyed the hot tub and lovely lake front property. The room was quiet (although this could be different if the additional guests were noisier; we did hear conversations in the morning). The room and common areas were very clean. The communal kitchen and living room were well appointed. Self serve breakfast with numerous choices. Bed and bed linens were very comfy. Close to Martinique Beach at the end of the peninsula where we saw a beautiful sunset. This is a self check-in location and we appreciated that convenience. Staff was available if needed but everything was clearly outlined in our handbook and messages prior to check-in. We would stay here again if we were in the area."
