"We decided to go up last minute. A very peaceful lodge with amazing staff. My husband forgot something, they went above and beyond. Found it and going to mail to us. The food was good, great grounds, lovely lakeview and boat ride. We will return."

"Beautiful spot that met and exceeded all expectations. Lake, second last day of patio season(ends September 2nd) and finally a break in rain made the evening short and sweet. Played radio bingo even too! Room: Rooms had modern decor but the actual showers etc are starting to show their age. Not a deal breaker. Rooms were also quite damp/humid(we were in a suite which was a part of a back split building) Having full cable(not that we watched) was fine but it seems more and more common to have a smart tv that you could sign into... not needed but seeming to become a more common thing found. All in all... a gem!"

"Beautiful place, but if swimming is your thing, the swimming is poor. Shallow and weedy, with neighbors just across the narrow river. Aside from that, it was great."
Lakefront, Amazing view Cottage beside Haliburton city

"The cottage is in a great location. AC actually worked as advertised. We have had AC cottages in the area before and they barely worked. This location is 100% family friendly. Lots of water equipment to use. Looked almost brand new. Dock was amazing. Did not rent a boat this year so we really used it to just sit around on. Did not get to use the fire pit due to weather, but there are plenty of seats around it and it is fairly large. 11 min drive into downtown Haliburton and 30 min to Minden. Plenty of space for food we brought as both fridges were full sized as well as a smaller deep freezer. Plenty of space inside the cottage. Internet access was way better then we have had out in Haliburton. Only recommendation I would have is a safety/hand rail to the basement especially for kids and seniors."

"Every thing was great overall The facility and rooms we supper clean Not a problem at all with the parking there was some one there to greet us and everything was ready although we didn’t use it the kitchen was very clean and lots of items to make a microwave or toaster oven meal with. The only problem I had and this was me personally having to go up and down the stairs that being older and arthritis. It was not an issue for my wife. It should be noted though that on the second floor it’s a shared bathroom. Having said that we would still recommend this place as a good place to stay as it met all of our needs on this trip."

"Everything was lovely. This is my second time being there and I love it. The rooms were prefect shape and staff were friendly. Only thing is the fire pit is not much of pit and located in odd spot and now where to sit. we tried to get it to do smores ,but were not successful . More of fireplace for the outside, which would be perfect. If it was in a functional area. But everything else was great. And the deer best part of our trip. So friendly and staff helped us learn about them Definitely will be back"

"Had an amazing stay! Place was simple, very clean. Amazing host. Very responsive. Beach area is incredible. Sunsets are breath taking. Having access to a canoe and kayaks made our trip that much more special. Easy to find and amenities are very close by."
