"Absolutely the worst place. Staff was rude when they finally showed up in what I guess you could call their lobby. The outside, inside and room looked nothing like the online pictures so do not believe any of them they are not pictures of this location. They had a jacked up car missing wheels in the back where we were to park. The room was so dated and everything was so old and beat up and moldy. They had two pillows the size of throw/couch pillows. Cigarette burns everywhere including the bed sheets. As soon as we saw the outside we were concerned. After waiting for staff and not being able to check in 30 minutes early we started looking around. This place is used for all the wrong reasons and even if you are desperate enough to have to stay here, I still wouldn’t. Sleeping in your car is a 100% a better option than this place. The place across the street saved us for the night. But townhouse is absolutely destroyed and not livable. "

"If you are in Winston-Salem, stay here! We wish we could have stayed longer! The house is clean, well supplied and the owners wer outstanding to work with. Multiple places to sit and visit! Front and side porch, back sunroom, cozy around the fireplace and a perfectly sized dining room! We did not even have a chance to enjoy the fire pit out back. Easily one of our favorite places! Easy to get in and out of town.We highly recommend this place!"

"We had an absolutely PERFECT stay at the Sapphire Shire. The house is wonderful inside and out. The rooms and layout were exactly as described. All the amenities one could need were available. What was actually under sold were the location, grounds and exterior. The home is by far the cutest on the block, the house backs up on beautiful woods at the top of the ridge, the master bedroom has stairs that open out to the side lawn and trees surround the property. The manager was responsive beyond expectation. We had several situations (unrelated to the house) about which I needed to communicate with Scott. He was not only responsive, he was kind, patient and understanding. I cannot recommend the Sapphire Shire more. "
