オリンピアでのイベント参加者にはアクセスがよい
久々に静かな部屋に宿泊した観がある。一階部屋だったので二階宿泊者の足音は聞こえたが、隣室からの音はほぼ聞こえなかった。寧ろ部屋が静かなので目の前の路上を走る車の音の方が気になった。周辺地域の店舗やその顧客には中東系移民と思われる人々が多く、ホテルフロントマン二人もそうだったが、とても親切であったし、タクシー予約やチェックアウト時の書類等の相談もとても親身になって作業してくれた。朝食はミニマムであるが、コストパフォーマンスを考えれば受容できる。オリンピアでの国際会議に参加する為宿泊。間を挟む地上鉄道駅の跨線橋が使えて、アクセスは最高によい。一方、ロンドン中心部へはタクシーを使わないと不便だろう。ホテルへの不満は二つだけ。両方共浴室関連。バスタブがなく、シャワーブースのみであるのはよいのだが、ブースはドアで密閉されず、シャワーカーテンでのみ仕切る。カーテンと床の間には10センチ位隙間があるのでカーテン前はシャワー後は水浸しである。足ふきタオルで足を拭いた後、ぞうきんとして床を拭う事で洗面台へのアクセスができる様になるが、この足ふきタオルを何故か3泊の間一度も交換してもらえなかった。ハンドタオルとバスタオルは交換してくれているのにである！シャワーブースはそもそもどうしてこういう構造なのか全く理解に苦しむし、足ふきタオルの無交換も床を拭ってびちゃびちゃであるのはすぐわかるはずなのに、そのまま畳んで便器に蓋をした上に戻される。温水を使用したタオルドライレールがあるので、そこで乾かして使用したが、ぞうきんとして使用した後乾燥させるので乾くと臭う。また、最終日チェックアウト直前、午前5時台のシャワーではハンドシャワーは出たが、天井からのメインシャワーはお湯も水も全くでなくなった。ハンドシャワーはホルダーの角度が調整できず、述べた通り、カーテン式ブースなので、細心の注意を払わないと水浸しが洪水レベルになる。これは頂けなかった。それまでの二日間は水量も湯温も急激に変化するよくある海外のホテルの様な事もなかっただけに残念である。もうひとつ。厚い重いカーテンの開閉は電動式であるが、全開から全閉はモーターの力が足らず、半分強で止まってしまう。その後は勢いをつけて閉める手動式である。1階は路上から室内が見えるので、夜はカーテンが閉まらないのは大問題となるし、女性で慣れない人では自分だけでは閉められないかもしれない。部屋には冷蔵庫完備。エアコンもダイキン製で冷房、暖房、送風、温度調整と日本人でも満足できるクオリティであった。ベッドサイドテーブルにはコンセントもありスマホを充電しながら手の届く所においてアラームにするのに問題ない。

Nice and quiet, let down only by minor issues. The lighting controls were on a panel - but it was difficult to read what controlled what - main issue for the bathroom. Breakfast food could have been hotter and no bacon! The door also rattled when people walked passed. But overall it was very clean and felt safe.

The receptionist was exceptional at getting our room ready for us early. A great breakfast is provided. Both buses and tube are close by. Room is very tiny, but very comfy!

Excellent hotel near Olympia. Lovely quiet street near High St. Kensington too. Friendly staff, keen and modern and a decent breakfast too. Rooms are quite small but that wasn't a problem for me.

The hotel staff was very nice, the room was small, but clean with a comfy bed. The control/light switches were a bit odd, but we were only staying for 2 days so we just lived with it. The shower had 2 options: Rain shower or handheld. I chose the handheld but it was broken and I was worried about spraying outside of the stall, there was no shower curtain. They had a breakfast available downstairs with a lovely outdoor space. I would definitely stay here again.

I have given this hotel a five star review based on value for money. We had a great stay here. The standard room is not large but it is well appointed and the bed was comfortable. It was also quiet so meant for a good night’s sleep. It’s close to Kensington Olympia Overground which is very convenient. The public areas were spotless. The simple buffet breakfast included in the price made our stay excellent value for money. We would definitely stay here again.

L’hotel si trova in un quartiere residenziale molto tranquillo a soli 3 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Olympia, sicuramente un bel plus. La camera era leggermente piccola ma dotata di tutto il necessario per un bel soggiorno, pulizia abbastanza buona. La struttura dell’hotel in se era molto carina e accogliente. Il personale gentilissimo e disponibile ad accogliere ed esaudire ogni nostra richiesta. Unica nota negativa è stata il buffet della colazione dove erano poche le scelte alimentari e soprattutto quasi unicamente salate con pochissimi cibi dolci. Tutto sommato il nostro soggiorno è stato piacevole e comodo.

Exquisite little gem
Lovely find for a rare trip to London to see a show for a special birthday. Hotel is excellently small, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Yes the room was small but it had everything we needed. Just enough toiletries and tea/coffee supplies for us so no unnecessary waste. Breakfast included was a great touch. Again sufficient and simple but enough for us. People going for breakfast after 930 will have had limited choice but still a selection available. Staff all polite and friendly.

Die Zimmer sind 15 m² klein. Es ist kein Platz für 2 Koffer. Im Bad gibt es keine Klobürste. Also muss man da etwas improvisieren. Die Dusche hat lediglich einen Vorhang. Dadurch steht das Bad nach dem Duschen unter Wasser. Die größte Enttäuschung ist jedoch das Frühstück. Als Aufschnitt gibt es nur Käse, der lieblos auf einem Teller gestapelt ist. Die Auswahl an brot ist auch sehr sehr übersichtlich. Das Rührei läuf weg wenn man nicht aufpasst. Man kann einen blick in die Küche werfen, wo auch das Geschirr abgewaschen wird. In dem Waschbecken entsorgt die Reinigungskraft auch das Dreckwasser und reinigt den Eimer dort. Lediglich die Lage des Hotels ist ganz ok. Nochmal würde ich das Hotel definitiv nicht buchen.

Lovely property that could use more attention
This is a gorgeous hotel. The room is lovely and high quality. The property is amazing, blending in with the row homes in a beautiful neighborhood in Kensington. What disappointed me was the amenities. It's hard to say these "ruined" my stay, as they aren't necessities, but were inconveniencing and keeping the room from getting a 10/10 from me. In my room, two of the three light buttons (all lights in one panel) were not working. Only the one far side of the bed worked, which meant turning everything off before leaving. The button for the automated curtains also did not work. My bathroom had a broken toilet paper holder, only had one towel set (usually there are 2?) and no bath mat in a shower that can easily spread water outside. My TV had maybe 1/3 of the channels offered. BBC One had no sound. Not all of the ITV 1-4 were available. Other channels had "Weak or No Signal" come up. When I asked the front desk about the TV first, they said "we called the television company and they said it's on our end". Which was very much a "we know and we're doing nothing about it", which made me not want to bother reporting anything else. Again, beautiful building, very nice rooms. Nice breakfast. Just needs a bit or care, attention, love, whatever, from the staff.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this place
Second night of my stay I noticed a leak in the bathroom, told the front desk about it. Three night I was told I couldn’t move room because they would have to move me every two nights to a different room. Fourth night I was told the leak was fixed, they lied. After having to wait 15 mins for the receptionist to finish his conversation about more shifts and his holiday, I was told that they would fixing the leak again in the morning. Again didn’t happen. Complained to hotels, General manager told me I would get a refund which 8 days later I’m still waiting for. Hotels.com couldn’t get hold of the hotel to file the complaint… that should tell you how pathetic they were acting. The morning of the sixth day, I moved out of the hotel, they clearly don’t care about their clients or their own reputation. Complete disgrace and I really wouldn’t consider staying there again. Don’t waste your time or money!

Reasonably priced, boutique hotel - amazing bed!
I just stayed one night - worst thing I could say about the place is, I found it hard to find - but that's more about me. It's not in an obvious, bustling neighbourhood. It's quite tucked away. The best thing I could say is, that's about the most comfortable bed I have slept in (at least, for years). Really nice, modest sized room, well laid out, nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Staff was pleasant, but didn't go above and beyond. Somewhere between toleration and enthusiasm.

Unfriendly reception when first arrived. Clean sheets and towels but mosquito’s in room constantly and very old fashioned. Breakfast very average and no one directing you what to do and what was available.

We had a lovely stay at the Kensington Prime Hotel. Even though the room was a bit smaller than expected, they were clean and comfy. The only downside was the breakfast area, it was too small for the amount of guests staying there and some people had to wait, not very welcoming or organized.
