It was a great place to stay with our grandkids. They had a great time. The bikes may need a little maintenance but it is expected with a lot of use. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We ate at the Campfire Grill and the food was exceptional. Would stay there again.

Staff are so kind and very helpful. The bathrooms could use a little more upkeep through out the day. (definitely pack and wear shower shoes) overall everything was great and we enjoyed the experience.

They were amazing! They accommodated us even though we checked in very late without any prior notice. The service was exceptional, and everything exceeded our expectations. The quality of the accommodations made our stay truly memorable and well worth it. Highly recommended!

The tent was clean and the heater kept us warm all night. The staff was very helpful especially starting our fire and they even came and started it again because of the rain.

Cleanliness wasn't a fault of the resort it was more people staying there that were the issue. The staff was amazing and always so helpful. Scenery was amazing looking at the lake and the bonus looking at all the animals around!!! So cool! From deer to turkeys being close to the family was so cool for the kids...no tablets needed!!! S'mores were a fun ending to each night with the kiddos!

Overall we liked staying at Conestoga ranch. It’s a very charming glamping destination. Me my wife and two kids got the tent with three beds, one queen and two twins. We thought the tent was surprisingly spacious. The s’mores kit they give you a check in is also a charming touch. One complaint is that the bathrooms and showers aren’t regularly maintained, they were usually dirty any time we wanted to use them. The people that work at the ranch are super friendly, we appreciated anytime we needed we could request someone with a golf cart to come and assist us. We would come back.

I really appreciated how many amenities are offered and available. The overall experience was good but I do have some feedback. The showers in the bathrooms had so many dead bugs stuck to the shower liner and all the bathrooms had a rancid smell. They place wagons so close to each other and the neighbors were not in the least bit considerate as we were woken up at 6 am the first morning and 7 am the next. You have to pay to use the items in the game room which I feel should be included. The restaurant is subpar yet very expensive. I love the idea of this glamping experience however it wasn’t fully executed.

We had a great stay at Conestoga Ranch, and the wagons themselves were comfortable. We visited over the busiest weekend of July 4th, and that’s where some things fell short. We asked to move to a wagon closer to the bathrooms since we have small children. The switch didn’t go through, and we were left waiting with all our belongings on the floor while the front desk tried to coordinate it. A little more organization would have made a big difference that weekend. The restaurant food was excellent, but reservations are required and were hard to get, so plan ahead if you want to eat there. Our room’s light fixture was just a bulb hanging from a cord with a plug. It had fallen onto the bed before we arrived, and it took a long time for anyone to fix it, so we ended up repairing it ourselves. A proper fixture would be a worthwhile upgrade. The afternoon heat in the wagons is very uncomfortable, and it’s a good idea to plan for it. The nights get cold, but the heater works very well. Overall, the staff were friendly, the setting is relaxing, and we would be glad to come back. We’d recommend it with a few caveats: book restaurant reservations early, ask for a room near the bathrooms when you check in, and bring a fan for the afternoons.

Great idea and location but execution fell short with bathrooms not kept clean during a busy season. My husband had to search several stalls with my son for one that actually had toilet paper! Floor, showers, and sinks were often full of hair and slow to drain. Linens/bedding in our tent had stains. Front desk staff was not very friendly (we stayed at several places during our Grand Teton/Yellowstone tour and they were definitely outliers!) and we even had to ask if the coffee was free. Bear Lake was cool but to be honest I wish we had proceded to Grand Teton from SLC and just skipped this stay altogether. Sad b/c we enjoy glamping!

We had a fantastic stay at Conestoga Ranch! We stayed with two adults and three children, and the wagon had plenty of space for all of us. Everything was very clean, and we were especially impressed with the number of bathrooms throughout the property. Even with a full resort, it was easy to shower and use the facilities without long waits. The fire pits were one of our favorite parts of the stay, and the fire pit valet service was such a fun and convenient touch. The on-site restaurant was delicious and made meals easy since it was just a short walk away. The location of the resort was also very convenient for exploring Bear Lake. Our kids loved the arcade. While a few of the games were out of order, they still had a great time. The only minor downside was that the wagon was a little warm when we first went to bed, but that’s understandable for July. It cooled down nicely overnight, and the fans provided in the wagons made a big difference. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again!
