"The rooms are basic but big and spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and try to help whenever they can. The breakfast room is very stylish and the choice good with a nice range of general breakfast choices and local Costa Rican dishes. A good hotel. "

"Very nice hotel with excellent amenities. The free airport shuttle doesn’t run very often, so we weren’t able to use it. The location is cocked by highways so you need a taxi to go almost anywhere if you want to explore the city or eat outside of the hotel. "

Kind of appears to be in a little “shady” area of the city, but the propery was totally fenced with guards on the property the entire time, so we totally felt safe leaving our car and all our luggage in the car while we were gone all day rafting. The staff were all friendly and great. The bed was a little stiff by US standards…but was totally fine. I would stay here again if I needed a place outside the city again. "

"Breakfast was terrific, fresh and lots of choices, plus excellent coffee. Dinner, drinks and desserts were divine. This is an older hotel with a bit of that “funky” wet smell in some carpeted areas, but that was my only complaint. Pool and grounds were gorgeous and well maintained. "

"Everything was great stayed in penthouse 2. Only suggestions fix the doors between the balconies. They woke me up a few times at night. Would also be nice to have more privacy between the balconies with some plants or something. "
