There are ferries to take you over to the Isles of Jura, Ghia or Arran and the towns to visit whilst there include Campbeltown with their award-winning golf courses and their white beaches, Oban, the seafood capital of Scotland and Inveraray where the castle is still inhabited and is open to visitors in the peak season.
