"The hotel room was clean, comfortable, spacious enough, fairly quiet (despite being next to a busy road), convenient and well located for local amenities, easy parking facilities and everything in the room worked. Add a good night's sleep and there really isn't to complain about."

"Amazing stay at Cameron House. We were given a room upgrade to a suite on arrival and had wonderful views over the loch. Have always loved staying here in the past but hadn’t visited since the reopening. We were thrilled to be back and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We were blessed with fabulous sunshine all weekend too. "

"Hotel is very run down, we waited at the reception for a bit before being seen to! Hallway and stairs are in need of a good clean and paint! Very run down. Room was freezing, no heating on. Damp on windows and ceiling and that was supposed to be a refurbished room! Needless to say we didn’t stay and left straight away! Out of pocket. Light fitting in hall hanging down from ceiling (dangerous). Hallway hadn’t even been hoovered. STAY CLEAR OF THIS HOTEL!!! "

"The property is situated in an excellent location with breathtaking views, within walking distance to the Duck Bay restaurant and nearby Cameron House. The cottage itself was very well presented, and the welcoming pack on arrival was a thoughtful touch. Despite initial concerns about having only one bathroom, it was well-equipped with a walk-in shower and a separate bathtub, which proved more than sufficient for our stay. The Duck Bay restaurant was another highlight, offering impeccable food and service. Additionally, the maintenance team provided exceptional support throughout our stay. Their genuine desire to help, excellent communication, and professional manner were greatly appreciated.However, there were some notable issues during our stay. The lack of pedestrian-friendly gate access and the limited options for entry (only one fob, no keypad) were inconvenient. Furthermore, the front desk staff left much to be desired in terms of customer service. While explanations about security and freezing conditions were provided—factors that are understandable—there was no sense of compassion or an apology for the inconvenience caused. This was in stark contrast to the exceptional service received at the Duck Bay restaurant and from the maintenance team. It’s important to remember that the front desk team is the first and last point of contact for guests, as well as the primary contact when problems arise. Their interactions leave a lasting impression, and in this instance, their response fell short of expectations.To improve, the addition of pedestrian-friendly access options, such as a keypad or additional fobs, would be beneficial. Overall the experience was excellent and highly recommended. It is clear that this property is suitable for families with Children as well as groups of adults making it a great choice for everyone."

"The apartment is beautifully finished; good bedlinen, comfy bed, roomy fridge and classy touches everywhere. We’d noticed there was no can-opener and the owner kindly brought one the next day. Sofa could be more comfy and the people before us did a really bad job of their washing up. The only thing I really objected to was the up to 10 day delay before getting our £200 deposit back. Not acceptable. Should be able to inspect and return deposit on the day of departure. "

"Everything was fine, the only problem was the bedding and throws in main room smelled of cigarette smoke. Also the soap dispenser in bathroom was empty. "
