The Local Area
Y Wennol is perfectly placed for discovering all the delights of Anglesey. Equidistant (approx 9 miles) from both Red Wharf Bay and Rhosneigr, you can enjoy watersports, leisurely coastal path walks and get to know what life is like on both the east and west coasts of the island. Right on your doorstep is the Oriel Môn art gallery, with the stunning fishing village of Moelfre just a short journey away.
Menai Bridge and Beaumaris are both icons of the island, with a wealth of independent shops, pubs and restaurants - we recommend Dylan's in Menai Bridge for authentic local cuisine and unbeatable waterside views. On route to either of these destinations, you'll find Pili Palas Nature World - an exciting family attraction home to a variety of native and tropical animals and insects with play areas to boot. Little ones are guaranteed to love it.
