「Wonderful experience staying right on the harbor! We were in the area during the busy 4th of July time and loved visiting Acadia and Bar Harbor. The best part was coming back to our quiet hideaway to rest up for our next day of exploring. There was an issue with our heat that was taken care of immediately. HIGHLY recommend this spot--oh, and be sure to check out Echo Lake, which is super close.」

「We had a lovely stay at the Gray Barn Carriage House. It was so quiet and peaceful! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was large and comfy, and there were plenty of reading nooks and sofas to relax on after a day on the hiking trails. We miss it already.」

「This is a great place to stay when visiting Acadia NP and Mount Desert Island. We stayed with our four children (ages ranging from 14 to 23) and had plenty of space. The back yard and hot tub were greatly appreciated after hiking days. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, but we also took advantage of local restaurants. Wonderful vacation spot! Also, the hosts were quick to respond to questions.」
