"First time staying at this property. Very clean, very nice front staff. Mt son and his girlfriend were here several days before we arrived. They loved the hot tub! The only issues they had was how much they heard the people above them walking around. Lots of dogs there, but I didn't hear any barking."

"Quick and easy check-in. Plentiful parking. Very welcome breakfasts with self-serve waffle irons, bagels, toast, oatmeal, cold cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit and boiled eggs. Coffee always available across from the front desk. I noticed that some of the listings indicated that they had coffee makers in the rooms. Mine didn't have one, but like I said it was always available across from the front desk. The hotel did lose power for several hours on Tuesday 10/13, but so did the rest of the block so I can't hold that against them. Easy check out and would stay when in the area again."

"Caleb greeted us when we arrived on this lovely, historic properly in Gettysburg and was helpful, knowledgeable about the history of the building and very proud to work there. I love a staff member who really likes their job. The room was beautiful and spacious, nicely cooled, clean, fresh sheets, comfy bed, just lovely. I wish you had stayed there for more than just one night. Caleb recommended their on-site restaurant. My lobster bisque wasn't great in flavor and I didn't see any lobster chunks but my wedge salad was amazing. Hubby’s filet was very good. The service was very good and our server seemed a bit stressed and told us we could only sit in one spot but when I told her about my hearing impairment, she kindly took us to a quieter spot that made our experience even better. I would highly recommend this charming inn but might suggest dinner downtown as there were many options."
