「We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Hillcrest cottage. It is exactly as shown in the listing. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire outside on the terrace watching the stars! Although it seems quite isolated it is less than half an hour’s stroll from Dunston and a few minutes further to Metheringham. The cottage and the views were stunning and we would highly recommend!」

「Accommodation good and comfortable but description of fishing nearby not accurate since nearest waterway was so weeded up that fishing was impossible. Owner was welcoming and there were helpful information leaflets. Plum bread delicious! Setting peaceful and sights to see.」
