It’s a place to lay your head.

This hotel was on, nothing fancy. It could use an update, the floor in the lobby was cracked in places and I was not given good directions about how to get to my room. The room was fine. The pillows were small but the mattress was comfortable enough. Breakfast was a little scary I wouldn’t suggest counting on it to start your day. If you are passing through St. Mary it is just about the only place to stay so I guess it serves a purpose.

Didn't eat in the area but there are two fast food places in walking distance, one is next door. Also saw a restaurant in the shopping center across the street. The hotel is evidently older. While the room decor has been updated fairly recently the structure(paint, entrance floor and mats,walls,etc) could use work. Bathroom had a musty, old smell. Be aware... There is no elevator only stairs to the second floor. Not the best situation for elderly or anyone that has difficulty climbing stairs. Especially when hauling luggage on top of it. All in all the room was comfortable enough and met my needs for a short stay.

This is conveniently located. Check in and out are easy. Breakfast included is a nice touch. The room was clean, but it had a very strong odor, possibly from cleaning products. All of my luggage and filter from cpap machine had this odor when I was home. Bedding was clean, but mattress was very uncomfortable for me. If you like a very firm mattress, this place is for you.

rude guest issue

We had issues with a group staying above us and it took 4 days to get it resolved. They have given us a discount on another later reservation, but could not credit us due to third party reservation. We did not feel that was right.

Seriously over billed

They charged me for 2 nights on both days I was there along with splitting the bill with my friends credit card. When I asked them about this, they accused my credit card company and bank of errors. Amazingly the morning of my checkout, the extra visa charges we removed. Very limited bfast food. No toast, no yogurt, no milk. Our room was so dusty. We could write our fingers in it. Will not return.

The property was what I'd expect for the price and the brand. There was a weird smell in the lobby, but the room itself was tidy and didn't smell. The walls are thin so during the day, you can hear kids running around and screaming, but that stopped once it was after bedtime. It was a great place to stay since I needed to be close to St. Marys Lake for a wedding (it was a 6 minute drive). We were on the second floor and there's no elevator. Vending machine stole my $5 and gave me no change, cash only. So that was annoying. But overall if I needed a cheap place to stay, I'd return.

The heater vibrated and made noise. The bathroom light was burnt out. It was brought to hotels attention and they did not fix it. Clock didn’t work, shower rod was coming out of wall, so it wouldn’t not close completely, freezer was frosted over and not usable. Breakfast was suppose to be 7-10 and didn’t start till 10. Juice machine was warm, not cold. Sheets were stained. Upon check in there was a guy sleeping on the couch in the entry way.

The overall facility is filthy. Entryway mats smell terrible. Multiple layers of duct tape are holding things together. The website promotes beautiful indoor pool to being told it's closed. The room hand receptacles not working. Toilet would not flush anything without a plunger. I'm not sure how this hotel is still open. The last time I checked, hostess ding dongs are not breakfast.
