"I booked the stay from Friday-Sunday and we were in a severe weather warning so for my safety I chose to cancel the booking from Saturday-Sunday to avoid travel issues. I was told by Expedia that they would contact the hotel for a refund waiver and was told the hotel denied it. It doesn’t make sense as to why they would deny me a refund when I didn’t stay the extra night. Just seems like they enjoy stealing peoples money and I would never stay here again for that reason. "

"The hotel was nice walking in and we had immediate service at the front desk. Parking was easy. The pool and hot tub was nice and the little tots play area was fun for the littles. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast tasted good and was fresh. BUT.... Our room was extremely cold, so we turned up the heat and it didn't work. The phone in our room didn't even have a cord attached, so we could not use it. Our toilet was clogged, so my husband had to go down to pick one up (we couldn't call) and they just sent it with him to the room without offering help (embarrassing). There was drops of something red on the side of the bathroom counter that looked like blood but not positive. My son found a pill of some sort at the end of one of the beds on the floor but so glad he found it and not the little one. "

"This hotel is wonderful. But it would be helpful if the restaurant opened earlier and stayed open later. Finding an open restaurant in downtown St. Paul is challenging so it would be nice if you could depend on your hotel to feed you."

"Upon checking in my son brought in a floaty. I was immediately told floaties were not allowed in the pool prior to anything else. Checked in, got to the room everything was fine. There was a group of guests in the pool screaming & yelling at their kids the entire time, staff did nothing. That same group was across the hall from me.. loved that they were allowed to have floaties, squirt guns, & be very disruptive all hours of the day/night, but we couldn't for some reason. Idk I've stayed here every year for my sons birthday & this year was just not a good vibe. Kind of a disappointing weekend stay & will look for other options in the future. "

"The pet fee of $50 a night is a little steep for a 10lb Maltese. Overall the hotel is clean and very nice. Great breakfast. Thank you!"
