"May 2026 Antonio and his family are charming and gracious hosts. The listing describes this location perfectly. Check in was easy. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Situated right on the beach and the restaurant is about 10 steps away. We enjoyed two evening dinners there. Sadly the weather was stormy, rain and wind the entire week we were there and as such we could not get down to the beach. The sunsets were amazing. It seemed that by mid afternoon, the skies cleared and we were able to get out and explore the area. The village Of Forio is about a 25 minute walk away. It is easy enough to get around by local bus, once you get the hang of it. Recommend visiting the Poseidon Thermal Pools."

"Love the hotel me and my 13 friends came and absolutely loved it would love to come back here next year for sure 10/10. Pool was amazing. The best breakfast I have ever had in the hotel it was beautiful."

"VERY DISAPPOINTED with our room. We spent over $2000 for three nights for an ocean view room and the only way to see the ocean was physically going out on our deck. Very misleading. We asked for a better room and they offered us one looking at another building with the sea behind it. The best part of the stay was the great staff at breakfast and the beach. The pool area is dark and dingy and the hotel seems to cater to those over 70 years. We know it's the off season but it wasn't a fun experience for our family. We do not recommend staying here if you have children or want a true ocean view. Also my daughter woke up with strange bug bites all over her body."

"We selected Samiramis as a bit of a splurge to recover from the marathon travel day from San Francisco. The staff were very helpful with arranging the airport transfer and early check in. The property was beautiful, with 4 thermal pools and wonderful views. We had thought we might have a day at Poseidon just down the road, but we enjoyed Samiramis so much, what was the point? We were certain we had made the right choice when we ran into the crowd leaving Poseidon at the end of the day and did not see a single smiling face. We could barely contain our own smiles in the paradise that was Samiramis. Top marks for the staff, the pools, breakfasts, cafe, landscaping, the room, location, nearby dinner options, convenient bus stop. Wish we could have stayed longer."
