The house is a charming farmhouse with that neat blend of old-style charm and modern convenience. It feels like out in the countryside, but only a short drive to anything. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, and there's a few games and toys for kiddos (plus tv and wifi), with lots of yard to explore. The owner, who lives in a separate home on property is friendly and helpful! Loved our stay!
The home was beautiful and functional- it had everything we needed and a lovely welcoming and comfortable environment. The property manager was attentive, responsive, and so friendly. The house was very clean, family-friendly (games and puzzles provided), and the porch and yard was beautiful and relaxing.
Beautiful home! It had everything that we needed. We had 4 adults and there was plenty of space; we’d love to stay there again and potentially with a larger group! We went to a basketball game at Rupp arena and Keeneland the next day. Both aren’t too far. Thanks for a great stay!
We found the property to be beautiful and relaxing. The house was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Gene and Nancy are accommodating and responsive hosts.
The house was a very nice place to stay. The country side is beautiful and the cows were fun to see on the property. House was very clean and the manager responded quickly when contacted. Only issue was there was only one tv in the house and it was broken during our entire stay.
Amazing property. Set in the rolling hills of Kentucky, it is close to a lot of activities. Distilleries, Keeneland, downtown Lexington. It was perfect. Gene was very accessible for anything we needed. Great Host!! Will be going back to this property for sure.
Beautiful, well appointed farmhouse in the country
We were four friends exploring bourbon country and the beautiful countryside of Kentucky. The farmhouse was in a perfect location for several of the distilleries including our favorite, Buffalo Trace. The farmhouse was lovely and very well appointed. The home was spacious and had a relaxing wrap around porch where we spent our mornings drinking coffee and our evenings sipping cocktails while reliving our day. I certainly recommend this property to anyone seeking a bucolic setting in bourbon country.
Six adult Friends spend several days in the Lexington area. Our stay in this home was the perfect setting. The location was ideal for peace and quiet, and yet it was close to the bourbon Trail, close to Keeneland, close to Lexington, and still you felt removed from the whole world when you were there. The beds were outstanding. The kitchen was equipped with everything you could think of, the charcoal grill was supplied with charcoal and there were even fire pits and wood available. We loved it and hope to come back again with our family.
