Welcome to our cottage, nestled on the banks of world-renowned limestone stream, the Yellow Breeches Creek. The cottage is perfect for a relaxing escape or a central hub to explore all of Central PA! Our location is perfect as we are:
-5.9 miles to Ski Roundtop (a Vail Resort!)
-8 miles to the State Capitol Building
-20 miles to Hershey Park + Giant Center
Under 40 miles to York, Lancaster, Gettysburg and beyond!

Our beautiful home is a single story, 900 ft. cottage with a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms. Hardwood floors throughout, stainless appliances, fully stocked kitchen, and a trex deck with outdoor furniture! We have two large HD smart TVs and high speed internet for your enjoyment!

Go down the deck steps to the lawn and fire pit and then more steps to enter the small stream directly in the back yard. The smaller off shoot of the Yellow Breeches sits on our property and is perfect for kids catching minnows and crayfish. If you continue over our island you will hit the main Breeches, which is known for world class trout fishing, tubing, kayaking, and more!
Please note:
We have two kayaks available for rental, but you have to be able to securely transport them to your starting destination ( if you are ending at the home…or vice versa)! Kayaking and tubing down the creek very popular activity in the summer! If you don’t want to plan the trip yourself, Liberty Forge offers creek tubing trips! Fly fishing is world renowned in the creek. Bring your rod and hop in from the back yard. Down the street, you’ll find mini golf, driving range, amazing restaurants, and more! (While these are close we wouldn’t walk, our road is dark at night without sidewalks).

By renting, you are agreeing to our vacation rental agreement. We are not responsible for water activities, please use caution and proceed at your own risk. We WILL NOT rent kayaks if there is a flood advisory. You must let us know you plan to use the kayaks at least 48 hours in advance as you must complete payment and sign the waiver via email in advance.

Our cancellation policy is FIRM, which means we do not give refunds for weather. Please consider travelers insurance if your trip is weather dependant. We do not provide firewood, but it is able to be purchased right down the street. Please do not move our fire pit from where it is placed.
